Faux Newsette says, "Tough day of headlines for the B*sh administration."
This is how she begins her discussion of the news with Bill Kristol.

Yeah, that's right, you Kool-Aid drinking whore. Fourteen Marines and an American journalist are dead and the big problem is how tough it is for B*sh.

Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you to hell.

5. But he of course appreciates their sacrifice -- from Crawford.
They died spreading freedom, you know... We take it to the enemy so that the enemy do not come to Crawford. What's unclear about that?!!

2. Yep...It's Hard Work Taking A Vacation
The horror of not just the loss of so many young men (no need to go into the futility of why they were there in the first place), but how the corporate media is handling this as just "another day at the office". Seems unless there's multiple deaths or something very horrific, this news falls behind Runaway brides, converting gays to straights, the latest Harry Potter and so on.

It's like the corporate media has been totally coward into doing the most important job they have...to tell us the truth about what's going on in Iraq. They've been so brow beaten and compromised by the boooosh regime so they avoid reporting bad news from Iraq and then burying it faster than those unfortunate Ohio families have in burying theirs.

Meanwhile meeester booosh will have a tough schedule today...clearing the front step without falling on his face.

9. Not Sinclair Broadcasting
It'd probably take Nightline nearly 90 minutes to show the faces and read the names...just like they did when the 1,000 mark was reached last year...and Sinclair Broadcasting censored it from their stations.

When the 2,000 mark is hit, the only people who will really note it will be those in the netroots...the only ones really keeping track.

10. Tell it, tell it.
It isn't the 14 kids dead, or the 14 families that have been devastated, it's how poor lil Chimpy McCokespoon has a tough day.

Pravda was never this party friendly to Brezhnev.

11. Well, it may have been tough news for Chimp and Co...
but I'm sure it was very easy news to take for everyone else. The families, for example. I'm sure it was a GREAT news day for them.

You're right; fuck them all to Hell.

12. Bullshit!!!
Bush doesn't care... what's another twenty or so to him? Has he ever once acted like he gave a shit?

He already got his second term. He could care less whether these kids died in his war. All he cares about is that he got the war.

15. Despicable.
It's a tough day alright, for the families who lost loved ones over shrubling's lies.

Even though it shouldn't, it still amazes me that there are so many people who continue to be hypnotized by Fux Notnews.

19. You are right...
PLEASE dont send me to Gitmo!!!!!

Which reminds me of soemthing...

Have any of you ever heard comedian David Cross' bit on how Chimp asked the troops in Iraq to pray for him and how the troops were given these prayer booklets with a tear out 'pledge' sheet that they could send to Chimpboy pledging that they would pray?

If anyone has Siruis radio, it is always on one of the comedy stations, David Cross is hilarious IMO!

Is that true?????

Everytime a soldier gets killed it hurts or killed it affects the Presidint. Heck, he probably won't be able to ride his bike today. (Maybe if Barbara gets poppy to put the training wheels back on he can).

22. "They come to his desk as a political liability....."
"They come to his desk not as youngsters with mothers and fathers or wives and children who will suffer to the end of their days a terribly torn fabric of familial relationships and the inconsolable remembrance of aborted life.... They come to his desk as a political liability which is why the press is not permitted to photograph the arrival of their coffins from Iraq."

26. That was, indeed, the message--baldfaced, no shame, no attempt to hide it.
And you know that Bill Kristol ran with that ball. He didn't even bat an eyelash. The crazy thing, though, is that the public internalizes these messages and allows them to shape their attitudes and world views.
