Anti-Dean roll call
Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 04:13 PM by quinnox
I am against Dean, and have been since the beginning. I think he is a weak candidate, and would be a disaster in a general election. Now I think Dean's true colors are being revealed. His attacks on Dems are starting again, yet when they respond, he gets on a sanctimonious high horse or not so gracefully flushes in red faced anger. This is not the kind of performance that will draw swing voters. Dean has shown he can throw a punch, but it seems he has a glass chin.

1. great - another thread - with a slight twist
that fits with a bunch of other threads on this topic.

I appreciate your point - but could you make it on one of the existing threads?

Or is no discussion besides Clark or Dean allowed in GD anymore? Because the net effect of starting a thread that fits with several existing threads and that will result in a mirror Dean thread is pushing ALL substantive ISSUE topics off of the front page. Within minutes.

Sorry but this is frustrating.

*this is todays pat response to the proliferation of identical threads that has shut down all other conversations among people, on issues, that are about beating BUSH, fighting back against BUsh policies, but devoid of clark or dean.* If ya'll can spam the forum - then I can spam your threads.

To all of ya'll GROW UP!

11. Yes, I guess the number of posts are not a realistic
assumption of credibility after all.....

Honor is so easily lost by weakeness when the moment of truth is so desperately needed.

got it on very substantial issues. Predicting and following the Coup in Venezuela in March 2002. Lots of digging on Haliburton's efforts to get around the law by buying Dresser (now why would they buy a company with a HUGE asbestoes liability)... which created a 'nonamerican subsidiary' to get around us sanctions in Iraq- Halliburton via a dresser subsidiary was the largest business partner at least for one year in the business of reequiping the oil industry (get it - Cheney's company - is what assisted Saddam in getting the money .. that supposedly financed getting WMD)... Other digging on the energy bill and related issues.

Certainly didn't get them with repetitive spam threads. Today I AM spamming these ridiculous threads that have worked to stifle all other discussions because ya'll want to fight - and instead of containing it to a handful of threads you each need to start multiple threads at a rate that pushes all others out. And i bet little new information has shown up on any of these threads in the past hour.

38. She got to 1000 plus the hard way...posting about policy...perhaps you
should visit the archives before commenting and form an informed opinion.....something some on the candidate threads don't wish to see happen which is why they go on the attack the minute POLICY is questioned.

16. I only criticized Deanies until Dean lied today
"That's why I had such strong disagreements with Senator Kerry, representative Gephardt and senator Edwards and Lieberman and now general Clark who also advocated last October that we go into Iraq, despite his opposition to it now."

Desperate liar.

14. are you even aware the anti-Clark roll call wasn't started
by a supporter of Howard Dean?

Are you aware that Clark was attacked first by Kerry and Lieberman on his GOP past.

Why haven't you responded to the weeks of attacks by the other candidates on Dean?

All you are ever interested in is posting anti-Dean comments, not much about the candidate you support.

21. I like Dean, but he risks becoming Lieberman-like with his attacks on Dems
Edited on Sun Sep-28-03 04:36 PM by Democat
Dean is a great voice for the Democratic Party right now, but he needs to stop with his recent desperate sounding attacks on Clark.

When Lieberman attacks other Dems, people are furious.

Dean is fine, but he needs to stick to attacking Republicans.

If he turns into another Lieberman or Zell Miller, spending more energy attacking Democrats than Republicans, he will lose my support.

33. Just don't complain when Lieberman attack Dems
Using your argument, Lieberman is just showing he is a strong fighter when he attacks other candidates.

Dean does not need to attack Democratic candidates at this point, he can stake out his own positions, and attack Republicans, without resorting to trying to take down other Democrats.

It is his right, but it is the wrong choice.
