2. How much of our tax dollars went into buying that cover selection. |
|
This administration is all about projecting an image of "success". Who knows what all they've bought with our money to that end.
This administration certainly doesn't look out for the elderly's interest, now, does it?

6. I told AARP what I thought of them... |
|
when they backed *'s insane Medicare-drug-supp. plan. I politely explained that I thought they were vile, filthy, Nazis and requested that they remove me from their numerous obscene mailing lists. I haven't heard from them since, and I used to get their garbage weekly! Never underestimate the power of a courteous, respectfully-worded letter. I would literally rather die than be associated with them.

I used to filch AARP mags tossed onto the counter at the Post Office because I wanted to know what was in store in the future as far as good deals that might be available. Then, one day, I read an article with a big Happy Birthday Newt Gingrich salute, with his smiling mug featured. It was then that I decided if they were so stupid as to honor that man who served his wife with divorce papers while she was recuperating from cancer surgery, that I didn't want to deal with them.
Then along came the drug plan and they pulled the earth in over their grave.
