Who the hell is Nancy Grace? Where did she come from?

I was flipping the channel and this... thing came on. She was so terrible I thought I was watching parody at first, I mean that, I honestly thought I had accidentally hit a Saturday night live rerun.

She's god awful, super intense to the point of faking it. Terrible accusations thrown at people in the news. No real insight to give. ANd she keeps calling everyone "Friend." Is she in a fucking cult? I'm not your fucking friend Nancy. In Fact I'd most likely dump my drink on your head if you ever came near me.

You know, there was a time when veteran journalists with insightful opinions who researched topics got talk shows. Now they give it to whoever yells the loudest.

A damned shame.

Next thing you know, she jumped over to CNN'S Headline News. The other woman (the blond Judge) on Court-TV really spoke-out during the Terri Shavio fiasco. I recall seeing her (for the 1st time in years) on MS-NBC. I can't think of her name, but that woman Judge really ripped into the panels on MS-NBC.

Next thing you know, Nancy Grace jumps ship to CNN. What's that tell you? Well, my viewpoint is that I think she showed her political position. Hope her show sinks like CNN's ratings have.

When will Nancy Grace peak? In July, Grace enjoyed "the program's best delivery since its launch in March. The show averaged 656,000 viewers at 8pm last month -- double as many as her nearest Headline News competitor. The only CNN personalities with higher ratings are Larry King, Paula Zahn and Aaron Brown. (And they've had years to build an audience.)

Thanks in part to Grace, Headline News posted "significant increases" in total day and primetime, CNN says. In Monday-Sunday total day, HLN increased 32 percent year-over-year (and 42 percent in the 25-54 demographic). In Monday-Friday primetime, HLN increased 129 percent year-over-year (and 120 percent in the demo).

She's a former prosecutor for Fulton County Georgia. Her fiancee was the victim of a random robbery and was murdered. She went to law school and became a prosecutor, most of her cases were murders, sexual offenses, and child molestation cases, and she won every case she tried.

Some of her tactics were questionable, but nothing that got her into trouble. My opinion is that she never got the counselling she needed after the death of her fiancee.

She has issues, evidently has little knowledge of the law outside of her own bubble world, and has no respect for anything or anyone that doesn't share her views.

And she was also on Court TV.

Truthfully, I think the horrible murder of her fiance rendered her incapable of impartiality when it comes to crime. I remember her saying the "Runaway Bride" woman was NOT, was NOT, was NOT a case of "cold feet"! She just 'knew' her fiance had something to hide blah blah blah.
