14. Bleeding heart liberal was perhaps why dems gained seats

in the old days. Because the average Joe knew we actually cared for them and made a positive impact on their lives.

The GOP got smart and changed the label to baby-murderers (i.e. the abortion debate). And then they added that we were against family values.

Labels are important, no matter who applies them.

Of course, I thank them profusely for recognizing that I am a loving, empathetic human, as opposed to a lizard-brain psycho killer who loves war, hatred, genocide, and shitting on the poor and disabled, oppressed, etc. - I tend to get more elaborate than this in a "live" situation, where I can improvise on what I see and hear before me. :)
