When "they" say, "You have a better chance of being hit by Lightning..." |
|
...than whatever, are they referring to an average person, who is taking proper precautions (i.e. getting out of the rain and into a building when it turns into a Thunderstorm, staying away from trees when caught out in the open, etc.)?
Or do that also include people doing stupid things like, walking around a golf course during a Thunderstorm, carrying a metal Golf club, while wearing shoes with metal spikes on the bottom of them, or whatever else they tell you not to do in a Thunder storm?

1. ....my understanding is that;... |
|
...the odds, on average of being struck by lightning are 1:1,000 , by contrast, the odds for he weekly Florida lottery are 1:13,000,000
..but people still 'play' the lottery...
