So, is CNN automatically fined thanks to novak's "vocabulary malfunction"?
Or does the FCC need to receive a certain number of complaints?

1. Nope
FCC has no jurisdiction over cable.

12. They don't have a license to broadcast, they're not a broadcast
entity. They're cable.

Besides, even if it were on broadcast TV, I personally think it's NBD.

6. Nor do I want the FCC to either
I don't think FCC is the one to complain to on this one; otherwise we are allowing the freepers to control cable too--which means the slope could go towards movies and shows on premium channels such as HBO.

It's CNN, Novak, and the Chicago Tribune we want to complain to. Mediamatters.org has e-mail addresses for CNN and Novak: http://mediamatters.org/items/200508040004

9. Details, details...
Actually, Novak's home newspaper is the Chicago Sun-Times:

The mediamatters link you provided does have his current public email address.

BTW, I couldn't agree with you more about the need to keep the hands of the feds off cable and satellite TV. The last thing free thinking people need is a bunch of hypocritical deviants deciding what we can and can't watch.

Cheers!
