Question of the day: Is Plame listed under Wilson in 2003's Who's Who...
Because if she's not, Nofacts out-and-out lied in his recent column and he fled the set because he was about to be confronted by the lie.

See:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=4266462&mesg_id=4266462

Here's the link to Nofact's recent column:

So, what was "wrong" with my column as Harlow claimed? There was nothing incorrect. He told the Post reporters he had "warned" me that if I "did write about it her name should not be revealed." That is meaningless. Once it was determined that Wilson's wife suggested the mission, she could be identified as "Valerie Plame" by reading her husband's entry in "Who's Who in America

Now, I'm guessing a really good public library should have the 2003 Who's Who in America. I'm at work, otherwise I might stop at the library. Otherwise, a good friend has the book, but he's on vacation and won't be back until Aug. 18th.

2. Valerie Plame/Wilson's name wasn't secret
the fact that she was an undercover CIA operative was.

3. NYT's Anne Kornblut says she is id'd, but that her employer is not listed

Note that Josh Marshall has found some problems with Kornblut's reporting on Novak:

http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/week_2005_07_31.php#006200

They had the book there on CNN last night when Novak had his nervous breakdown. They probably had a better question for Novak about his story than whether Valerie Elise Plame was listed.

Something more to the story.

7. My pleasure. If you really want to be confused, edified, whatever
about this mess and meltdown, there's an interesting thread at

But you've probably already read it.

Have a good Friday and a good weekend.

4. I don't know about Who's Who, but Randi Rhodes said it was readily
available on the Internet in Joe Wilson's bios. She was listed as the former Valerie Plame. Her name wasn't a secret, it was her true occupation.

9. you mean her true occupation was secret, right?
I'm sure the bio didn't say, "deep cover WMD specialist, CIA"
