Gas jumped 12 cents yesterday in KC.
Seems like they always hit it Thurs morning or during the day Thurs. My wife actually felt 'lucky' to fill up on Wed for 'only 2.15'. I believe 2.27 is the higest I've personally seen it here.

Good thing we gave those record profit reporting companies some extra tax breaks right? Cheap gas is just around the corner I'm sure...

1. Try 2.45 here in metro Detroit...

We're paying the price for not investing in mass transit.

3. Yeah, I notice I can get gas a little cheaper on the Missouri side.
It appears gas is more expensive on the Kansas side. I don't know if this is due to state taxes of the perception that we in Johnson County have more money (a misconception: we aren't all JoCo millionaires), but Missouri is often a haven of sanity for those of us who live in Kansas on or near State Line Rd., especially for cheaper gas and buying liquor on Sunday...

8. Yep I think its a JoCo thing
Even on the Missouri side you will see several cents difference if in Independence vs Lees Summit. Go to a more rural area and you will see it drop further.

You should vawe the flag and support the president. And not whine about something so insignificant like gas prices. Why do you liberals hate America so much? I just don't get it...

7. Went Down Here 6 Cents Overnight!
I was shocked. It went up 21 cents between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, and then fell 6 cents before Friday morning.

It was up to $2.46. Now, it's $2.40.
