Why hasn't there been a movie made about Fiorello La Guardia?
Franken and a guest are talking about a movie that's been made about Thomas Paine, which sounds interesting. Recently, I read an essay by the great Howard Zinn about Fiorello La Guardia. Has anyone read it? It's included in The Zinn Reader, a brilliant informative article about an absolutely fascinating man. This guy was a very progressive Republican(!), I doubt he'd fit into today's GOP or even want to. Rudy Giuliani couldn't hold a candle to this guy.

Any other Fiorello La Guardia fans out there?
