Freepers have the nerve to whine about how many times the media talks about the Clinton walkout compared to the Novak walkout. Excuse me? Clinton didn't blurt out "THAT'S BULLSHIT!" before he left his inteview AND it wasn't during a live broadcast (in the US) AND Clinton wasn't testifying the next day about his involvement in the outing of a CIA agent. Why oh why do they always compare President Clinton to their side's shortcomings?

They'll eventually get tired of propping up a ton of horseshit, but for now they feel as though they HAVE to come to the defense of anyone who is associated with their team. Once the RW elites throw Novak to the dogs, as word spreads that he ratted out their star players, they'll complain about Clinton in a new and different context!

Because to them Clinton is the Ur-Democrat. He symbolizes everything about liberals and Democrats that they think is Bad. (And he's a big, handsome guy who got laid more than they could ever could dream, which pisses them off even more, and which I think is at the root of their loathing.) I think it's hilarious. It seems every time I get into an argument with a frothing freeper about something Bush has done, I always get some line of crap that starts, "Yeah, but Clinton (yadda yadda yadda)...." And I point out that he's not the President any more, hasn't been in more than 5 years, and the issue is only what Bush is doing NOW, so what do you have to say about THAT? Usually shuts 'em up because they can never think of anything to justify what Bush has done.

I can't think of any comparison to Novakula's behavior, either. And can you imagine the uproar from the wingnuts if it had been Carville who said the bad word and stomped off?

9. Freepers appear to be stuck in another time warp

If there not bitching about Clinton they are still using Kerry as an example (we beat your guys, nanna nanna boo boo). Do these people ever truly take responsibility for anything (don't have to answer that one I already know). I'm just amazed at how stupid these people really, really are.

Their excuse is: "He did it too." They dig for any equivalency. And they accuse the left of moral equivlency. Hey dirtbag RepubliCONS: It's either wrong or it's not. What Clinton ever did on a teevee show can't be the same because he's not a journalist, and he's not in the middle of the scandal that can bring down the white house that he is traitoring for.
