Galloway says Blair and Bush 'have blood on their hands'

Tony Blair and George Bush have "far more blood on their hands" than the terrorists who carried out the London tube bombings, George Galloway said today.

Mr Galloway, Respect MP for Bethnal Green, said that the attacks on the capital by Islamic extremists could not be separated from the invasion of Iraq and Britain's treatment of the Muslim world.

He said that the "al-Qaida phenomenon" had arisen directly as a result of western policies in the Middle East.

4. He IS right, but he could do better

Every time I've heard of him speak out recently, he's been right, but he's also been rather infammatory and rhetorical. It seems to me he's talking ideeology, while he could have a much greater impact if he talked facts. MSM are paying him some attention - he should use it while it lasts towards a concrete goal rather than general Blair-bashing.

Here's an idea for Mr. Galloway: "adopt" a whistleblower. Talk to Sibel Edmonds or Indira Singh, or someone else of his choosing, and help put that person in the limelight, give them exposure, air the facts.

I admit those whistleblowers have become my pet cause, because I think they are essential to any optimistic scenario. Galloway could take another route. I'm only saying that while I admire his stance, I think he could make a better use of the media time he gets than just airing his rhetoric.
