if it's true what he says about the radiation levels in Bagdhad, there are in for a long time trouble unless they clean up all sand and transport it elsewhere...
Uranium's most stable isotope, uranium-238, has a half-life of about 4,468,000,000 years. It decays into thorium-234 through alpha decay or decays through spontaneous fission.

that I bet there were also uranium weapons in the first Iraq war, and it's likely that has a lot to do with the Gulf War Syndrome. Mark my words, 5-10 years from now, ExxonMobil War vets will be coming down with strange illnesses that nobody will be able to explain. And oddly enough, nobody in the administration will know why.
