e-mail from a Freeper titled: Pictures From Iraq That Are Too Shocking & Graphic for The Mainstream Media

You open it up and you get these feel good photos and Iraqi people holding signs that say "Thank you president Bush" and smiling Iraq people with American soldiers. Then it follows with this text:

Please pass the pictures on. Sometimes in our everyday lives we tend to forget what's going on elsewhere in the world and that the brave men and women of the service are just like you and I. They have family and friends back home who love them very much and are praying for their safe return.

This would not have bothered me that much had it not had photos with signs saying "Thank you President Bush". I have also seen plenty of the kind of photos they show in this e-mail on the news. I want to e-mail back everyone who was on the list the kinds of photos you really wont see on the news. Please give me extremely graphic and realistic photos of the Iraq war. These people are living in a dream world. Thank you!

9. What I ask the people who say

"We never hear the good stuff"...I ask them, well, why not? Why isn't Fox News showing all the good stuff? Why isn't Newsmax or Bloomberg? There are plenty of "patriotic" news sources...so. Why aren't these people seeing all the good news?
And exactly how many images of soldiers giving kids candy does it take to cancel out the image of 14 Marines lying dead in the dust? How many "feel good" photo ops. cancel out children being killed?
People can live in their ridiculous fantasy world if they want. They can choose not to trouble their "beautiful minds" with the reality of war. They can chose NOT to look at the images DUers show. It's the only way they can live with themselves and their support for the warmongers.
They made a terrible decision when they voted for Bush. They chose death and destruction of innocent people.
Now they want reassurance so they massage their guilty consciences with inane emails like this.

Most of that e-mail is wonderful accept the bogus photos of Iraqi people holding up signs that say "Thank you Mr. Bush." You might see something like that in the north or south but not in the Sunni Triangle and around Bagdad. In reality you won't see much of what is going on in Iraq right now because it's too dangerous for the media to go any place right now.

Some other things you won't see in the mainstream media:

Wasn't this War supposed to be about weapons of Mass Distraction? And why is the media laughing with Bush here?

I was origionaly for the War after it was trumped up and I was warned of mushroom clouds and eminant danger. BUT NOT NOW! I HATE BEING LIED TO!

Sorry, I am not buying the feel good photos and Bush is the most NON-Christian president we have ever had. He is a complete fake, he is dishonest and arrogant and he misslead us into a war of choice that has been mishandled in every possible way and lead to the deaths of way too many inocent beautiful people. It has made us less safe, increased terrorism ten fold around the world, it's wrecking our military, turned the world against us and it's taking food out of the mouths of American children. All the while their never were ANY weapons of Mass Distruction which is WHY we went to war in the first place. It's now well knows the administration played with intelligence and even outed CIA agents who worked on tracking WMD's around the world for the War they just had to have so much they were willing to lie to the American people to get it.

You can send me anything and everything that supports our soldiers who are the biggest victims of the Bush Administration but please don't send me anything that makes it look like the Iraqi people are thrilled and excited about their country being destroyed and their children's body's being mutilated holding signs that say they love Mr. Bush. It's so ridiculous and offensive it's almost comical.

the very very beginning. they are old pictures. adn no, you cannot find pictures like that today cause iraq doesnt look like that now and people wont be holding up signs thanks bush, as they are being shot, blown up, kidnapped, raped adn arrested becasue they are merely sunni
