Is it Safe to Come Back Now?
Edited on Sat Aug-06-05 06:48 AM by Dem Agog
Hi everyone, I used to post here (southpaw4kerry, turned "Dem Agog") until I could take the November election fraud results no more. I had to stop reading, it was too emotionally stressful.

But lately... am I crazy or does the tide seem to be actually TURNING? Is Boy Hitler going down?????

Novak - Douchebag for Liberty! (Loved watching Jon Stewart practically orgasm over himself over that one the other night...)

Rove! (Fool, Brain of Boy Hitler)

Boy Hitler himself! THIRTY EIGHT PERCENT! One more point down and I'd feel compelled to call the WH and scream "Thirty SEVEN? Try not to blow anyone on your way to the parking lot!" (Okay who gets the ref?)

My dad actually keeps closer tabs on DU than I have lately. I don't know if he posts or reads the posts, but he has a "thing" about getting his blood pressure up over this dipshit administration and so even when I could not look, he did... He sent me stories routinely. I didn't tell him I had a login (I was busy trying to convince him he needed to turn the telly off and relax, the news and stories about the Idiot in Chief are still too much for him in my opinion...)

I even had to remove Fox News from the man's TiVo channel lineup, because he watches it to get himself riled up! Oh Dad, I do love ya but you gotta turn off the evil, let other people watch it for you.

At any rate, enough rambling. I'm baaaaack!

PS: Rachel Maddow has kept me sane with The Rachel Maddow show. Best thing ever...

2. good to see you back
Oh I know what your dad means! I like to get a rush from getting pissed off! It's sick I know. I had to stop because I'm young -30 - but I could tell it was effecting my health being mad all the time, haha. I read tons of papers etc, but I keep my rage stuff to a minimum. I do live to put down some Freeper-like people I know through e-mail. That is fun whipping ass like that, haha.

It's nice to see these guys hurting. I just hope we can make some headway in '06 and then even more in '08, including the Presidency. Then just keep fighting and making progress. We need a movement, not any self-pity. Time to drop the hammer!

4. Welcome back Dem Agog...
Yes, we are actually starting to have entire weeks of positive news about the sheeple's and MSM's slow awakening to the utter corruptness that is the bfee.

Although I often feel, and see posted here, "It's about f***ing time!" when polls, editorials, news stories and people around me starting saying the same thing I've (we've) been saying since Jan. 2001.

Nevertheless, the momentum seems to be shifting in our favor more and more.

I'm glad you're back, to join in the wild ride ahead! :hi:

Thanks Buddyholly'sghost and all! Not only are BP meds probably skyrocketing (yup, dear ol' Dad's on 'em) but antidepressants probably are as well...

9. "turn off the evil, let other people watch it for you"
I had to break away for a time myself. The wear and tear on the heart and mind is tough. Stress really takes a toll and sometimes you don't realize it's getting to you, until it knocks you off your feet. Good luck to you and your Dad...

Thanks Hubert for understanding... I of course don't mean give up and after rereading what I wrote I hoped no one would take it that way, but breaks are so necessary sometimes. Love your quote by the way, re: the eagle.

16. I podcast Rachel every morning!
I too, got Sirius, and when they dropped AAR I stopped listening. I stupidly bought a year contract with them though.

I podcast Rachel via iTunes. I think if you Podcast her via iTunes it gives her "ratings" of some sort. I don't have an iPod. I just schedule the download daily in iTunes and every morning before going to work I drag the MP3 onto my MP3 player and listen to her via the cassette adapter of my car.

I'm a straight girl, but I must admit to having a big ol' girl crush on her, because she's so witty and funny and she makes me laugh and makes me feel like all hope is not lost on the world... I love the woman. I hope she is in the limelight and speaking out against the establishment for a good long time... She's even a tad more left than I am (I love how she calls Clinton the best Republican president we've ever had) but I can't help but nod in agreement with her every word.

And Kent Jones rules too, in his pieces on her show. :)

15. I get very angry too
that's one reason I listen to Mike Malloy before I fall asleep. The first hour or so - before he takes phone calls - really cracks me up. The man is so flabergasted and pissed off, it helps me to be able to laugh a little at myself. I love that man!
