Why isn't this 27 year old war supporter fighting?
http://www3.capwiz.com/usatoday/bio/userletter/?id=20004&letter_id=443265481&content_dir=politicsol

"I voted for you twice and I am happy and proud to have you representing our country as President. You made the right choice to invada Iraq and defend our freedom as Americans. I am only 27 but I will never forget this time period and will always consider it a shaky but just time in American history"

anyone want to contact him and find out if there's a good reason why he's not in Iraq?

2. That's quite a quote you gave.
If he's that "happy and proud," he should indeed be participating in the war that is making him so happy and proud.

Likely, he'll get to participate in some of the poor economy Bush is spreading around.

3. BAWK BAWK BAWK
Chicken-hawk. What a moran.

I thought this was funny too:

"I am only 27 but I will never forget this time period and will always consider it a shaky but just time in American history"

I think historians will have a different take.

...when the people at last rise up and take back the promise of this once great land!! An impeachment trial would be a nice start....~!!

Put up or shut up, you sorry excuse for an American in Henderson, NV.

Edit: pictures are not loading properly for me; here is the DU thread from yesterday--the photo is heartbreaking as hell.

6. His contact information is available
Ya know....on one of those search engines...say like...Yahoo People Search.

But if you write, be nice, he obviously is very naive about how the real world works.

7. Lookee what I found
Something about that letter sounded so contrived I decided to do a Google search and found this very same letter and poster at two other sites:

15. Looks like USA TODAY got turfed as well!!!
https://ssl.capwiz.com/usatoday/bio/userletter/?id=20004&letter_id=443265481&content_dir=politicsol

Interesting spelling of the middle name that chickenhawk has...the Saint of the same name spells it Aloysius...

The whole letter is probably a complete fake, written by some flabby, greasy, sweaty guy who can't look good even in a "power" suit.

10. What a putz...
"I am only 27 years old..." = romping infancy? What bullshit. By the time I was "only" 27 years old, I'd been out of the US Army five years after serving a year in Vietnam. This country has produced a generation of stupid, pampered imbeciles who have never faced the prospect of losing anything - not even a moment's interruption in the serenity of their lives. Not surprisingly, this has led to a mass of chickenhawks, weaned on pathetic, violent video games, whose philosophy of life is, "Let's you and him fight!" It's a good thing I'm not a vindictive person, or I'd start wishing for another Great Depression and a new universal, no-deferments military draft. There are times when I believe the USA needs a good, hard slap across the face and the instruction: "SNAP OUT OF IT!!!"

12. I know what you mean.
Since when is 27 childhood? That's well past the time when you stand up and put your money where you mouth is (or your ass where your rhetoric is, in this guy's case).

16. Yeah, I was well on my way up the military food chain by the time I was 27
...and I didn't start early, either. "Only 27" year olds are performing some serious leadership duties over there in that hellhole sandbox...and kids far younger than that, as well.

Putz sums him up, in kind fashion!
