this is a powerful picture of a mother's grief over the loss of her son in Iraq.
A picture can say a lot. We all remember the little naked girl running in the Vietnam picture, and the lady crying with outstretched arms at Kent State.

In my opinion, this picture can be as powerful. Look at the grief on her face and the way her hands clutch at the folded flag.

I needed to see some "Real" pictures of real people who are directly affected by this War. I have to ask though.......why do the families of Marines just suck it up and bear this horrible waste of their own flesh and blood?? I live near Brookpark, down in Akron, and now I want to go there myself because I find it incomprehensible that no one is asking for the Vacationer-in-Chief's head?? Not one sign of protest, no one holding a "US out of Irag" sign. Oh, but I guess since a "majority" of Ohioans voted for the asshole, they just idly accept their fates. My only hope is that this tragedy will start to awaken the "sleeping giant" that is the silent majority out there.

Seriously, with that kind of pain, I hope she makes it somehow.

My uncle recently died of anticipatory grief. He was already in poor health with emphysema, but his second daughter was given only another sixty days to live. He had already buried one daughter. He told his sister he could not bear it. So he died a few days later.

I wonder how it would be possible for Bush* to ever understand what he is doing to families. I don't think he could, because I think he is a sociopath.
