Link to 'Identities Protection Act': CIA outers face 10 years behind bars
People have cited the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982
as applicable to the CIA outing, so I thought I'd post a link.

On another thread, it was noted that this law was passed by Repukes who had accused Frank Church of outing an agent in the course of
the CIA scandals of the early '80s.

You're forgetting the Republican Exemption clause in the legislation.
