I have heard that Bush is doing good for the Economy.

I have heard Fox News say that the reason as to why the economy is doing bad is because people oppose him.

No, I think Bush is ruining the Economy.

I have been telling people this for the last two years!

They are deliberately setting out to ruin the middle/working class in this country...in fact, around the world!

This is PART of the "new world order"...to reduce the world to a class system of one ruling class, one-world government, and everyone else a worker slave.

And, another thing, someone or alot of someones is going to get very rich off the collapse of the dollar. Soros made his money in capital speculation, almost brought down the British banks with his pound sterling maneuvers...remember?

6. Poor Jimmy Carter... God bless him, he held the line...

I remember being a kid and watching him, and I remember my dad saying how bad he felt for him. The economy was a mess, but Carter was a good man, a good dem. I don't remember a lot of the economic policies that came out at that time (I was about 9), but I think it's awfully telling that he was able to keep our deficit at a stand-still. I also remember that even though the economy sucked, we had good social services. (My Dad was on strike during his presidency for about 9 months.) I remember going to the dentist, doctors, and we always had enough to eat (food stamps). When the strike was over I remember thinking, geez we sure went to the dentist a lot more when Dad was on strike! (My Dad had medical but not dental...)

I also remember that Jimmy Carter carried his own dry cleaning, wore sweaters in the WH (because there was an "energy crisis" and he'd turned the heat down to 65), and didn't lie to us. The day of Reagan's inauguration was the day I learned just how dirty politics really is.

9. Thank you! :) I've always felt Jimmy Carter got a bum deal...

He did so much to further the Middle East peace process, and has gotten very little credit for it. And he has become the standard for what an president should try to achieve in their post-presidency.

I remember watching the footage of Jimmy and Rosalind walking up to the White House during his inauguration... I felt like they were Americans that cared and felt at ease with the American public. We Americans didn't know how good we had it! :)
