Cindy Sheehan = Rosa Parks. An ordinary citizen doing the right thing
in the right place at the right time.

Lots of differences, sure.

Rosa did not plan what happened, but she became a catalyst because it happened at a time when her situation resonated with many people who believed it was wrong.

Ms. Sheehan did not choose to lose her child in gwb's f***ing illegal war.

However, she has chosen to take her message, one that is completely driven by the right reasons, to the right place...Crawford.

At the right time...when gwb is on vacation. And after he just spewed his "not dying in vain" BS.

And her situation is resonating with many, many, many people who believe, no, make that know, it's wrong.

I saw her on Late Edition and she was so genuine, so clearly grieving yet seeing beyond her own pain to be the best citizen possible...one who dissents.

Her strength and words brought me to tears. An ordinary American citizen who may change to course of our history.

2. I agree. Back of the bus, Into the ditch!
No need to yell or scream, just do what you do, stand up for what you believe, say "no more".

5. Making her walk in that ditch really pisses me off.
I can see Mr.bush not wanting to meet with her, but that ditch thing is total bs. Like Rosa Parks, one day we need simply just say "no more."

7. az chela, your strength as a mother shows in your daughter
I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandson and I am inspired beyond belief by your wonderful daughter.

I'm honored you posted on my thread. Your legacy shines through in the child you nurtured and guided to become an adult with integrity and honor. MKJ
