1. Laissez-Faire
Capitalism IMO. Capitalism without regulations is what forces us into a competitve rat race that kills us all one way or another in the end.

Yeah, I don't think it is the saving grace of us all either.

4. I'm still waiting, Bama, for someone to point out a viable precedent

I mean, really! What country or society has ever been truly successful using unchecked unbridled government-free capitalism? I even used to ask this question when I ran with the wingers way back when. I'll never forget one conversation I had, this was around '90, '91 (well, I'll admit, I can't recall word-for-word, but the ideas are there)...

Me: But, if you think about it, where has there ever been a society that used laissez-faire successfully.

Other Guy: Well... Costa Rica's been doing pretty well.

Me: What? You're saying Costa Rica has a laissez-faire system.

OG: Absolutely... pretty close... a lot closer than we are.

Me: Yeah, but Costa Rica isn't as successful as the US.

OG: Sure they are.

Me: AS THE UNITED STATES???

OG: Well, they're making some serious gains, give 'em time.

9. Funny How They Used Costa Rica
Did you ever point out that Costa Rica doesn't have a military just to fire them up?

Back to the point-- they simply don't care. They think their way is best but just don't show them the facts or any figures to prove them wrong, then they'll have to tell you that you're hellbound! lol

5. Where can I get a copy of this poster? I want to frame it and...
hang it in my living room (next to the 1969 Berkeley, California reprint/translation of the 1919 Berlin Dadaist Revolutionary Council poster proclaiming "POETRY DEMANDS UNEMPLOYMENT").

This is a serious request; please respond.

6. Here are some possibilities
To get an original or copy of original you might do a search through the Industrial Workers archive.

you might also look in the lower right hand corner of the poster and begin tracing the whereabouts of who owns the copyright and see if it is available anywhere.

If you want just a version of the image and not a reproduction what you can do is copy and paste and then enlarge the image. You can then print it out on an 11 by 17 and use that image though it won't be as clear and defined.

I do not know where to go precisely, but you might ask the IWW, yes they are still around, or attempt to reach some of the more populist oriented socialist-like groups in the US.

Good Luck.

I'll look into it further.

10. Since there are many examples historically and in the present
that an unregulated, capitalistic system doesn't work for the majority, I don't understand why people support it.
