Wolf's interview with Cindy

The part where she tells him about George's reaction during the meeting last year with her and the other grieving war moms....she described his demeanour as if the meeting with these women was a PARTY. He wouldn't look at pictures of her son Casey, wouldn't refer to him as anything other than "your loved one"....chilling. There's more. You gotta watch the clip.

I'm listening to AAR and want to catch Cindy there, and don't want to lose that link. What did she say to Wolf?

3. She stunned Wolf with what she said...

...she just ripped Dubya a new one for five minutes....said he didn't care about her son, or any of the other dead U.S. soldiers and Iraqi citizens he murdered. I think she said he 'murdered' her son too. The stuff she was saying just took the wind out of Wolf's sails....when she describes the scene of meeting with Bush last year, it's jaw-dropping. She describes a man who sort of airily bounces into the room, sez something like "who are we honouring today", and was in a jovial mood...acting like it were a party. When she said that last part, Wolf sort of staggered a bit and repeated "A party??" Watch the clip when you have time. I have seen and heard and read a lot of stuff about Dubya....nothing I have encountered chilled me more than what I heard this woman say in this interview. Seriously.

4. The man is scum

This is very similar to the treatment received by the family of James Byrd (the poor soul dragged behind a truck by racists in Jaspar, TX). Bush met with them for 5 minutes and was extremely cold to their pain. I will never understand the almost religeous loyalty the man engenders. He gives nothing and deserves nothing. I hope Blitzer was VERY uncomfortable.

just heard her on AAR and so came back here and listened to the interview. Wolf was surprised by her words about Bush acting like it was a party. He shouldn't be. Surely he saw Bush do the "looking for WMD" bit for the press corps. Maye Wolf just realized that the American people don't look on that as comedy.
