Edited on Mon Sep-29-03 12:10 AM by TruthIsAll
No, I don't think so. You voted 54% for Gore and that AWOL thief stole the election in Florida and all your votes didn't count for shit!

Know this: You will have to give Gray Davis that SAME 54% OR THEY WILL STEAL THE ELECTION IN YOUR STATE...AND YOU WILL HAVE BUSH* FOR ANOTHER FOUR MISERABLE YEARS.

YOU THINK THINGS ARE BAD NOW; BUSHCO HAS MORE OF THE SAME IN MIND FOR YOU.

HE FUCKED UP YOUR STATE, LIKE HE DID THE 50 OTHERS, EXCEPT HE WENT AFTER YOU WITH ENRON AND KEN LAY!

YOUR GOVERNOR-TO-BE ARNOLD MET IN THE SPRING OF 2001 WITH KEN LAY AND CHENEY WHILE YOU WERE GETTING SHAFTED BY THOSE ENRON MANIPULATORS AND DEREGULATORS WHO SENT YOUR ENERGY/UTILITY PRICES THROUGH THE ROOF.

SO GET OFF YOUR LAID-BACK ASS! GET OUT AND VOTE FOR GRAY DAVIS!

IF YOU DON'T WE ARE ALL FUCKED!

3. HERE, HERE!
Sent to the gang on my "Captain's List."

Maties,

We need to get off our collective duffs and get the word out ON THIS!

http://www.voanews.com/article.cfm?objectID=3284C98A-B070-4AC8-
85E051DCA707189A

"A new poll indicates voters in California's recall election will choose to oust current
governor Gray Davis and elect movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger to replace him.
Sixty-three percent of those surveyed in the CNN, USA Today and Gallup poll said
they would vote to recall Mr. Davis on October seventh.

The poll found that 40-percent of respondents would choose Mr. Schwarzenegger to
replace Governor Davis. Another 25 percent would elect Democratic Lieutenant
Governor Cruz Bustamante and 18 percent would vote for Republican state Senator
Tom McClintock. "

OUR WE OUT OF OUR FUCKING MINDS?

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GIVE GEORGE W. BUSH EVER MORE POWER AND INFLUENCE?

If Ahnold becomes the next governor, you can count on Bush taking California's 54 Electoral Votes in 2004. You thought the banana republic hijinx perpetrated by the would-be president's Governor BROTHER JEB of Florida in 2000 was bad, just wail til the Coming California Swindle of 2004! I can guarantee it!

"Governor Gangbang," "Governor Groper," "Governor Group Sex," will insure that California goes Bush's way if he becomes the next governor, and we will have to endure another FOUR MORE YEARS of the the worst Presidency in US history.

IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?

Get out and vote. Spread the word. Most people simply dont' know the issues. They may dislike Gray Davis (like Captain Mike does), but they don't know that this Recall Vote is purely a political move coming straight from The White House. Our current fiscal crisis has many parents, but the BIGGEST FACTOR in all of it is ENRON'S RAPE OF CALIFORNIA PERPETRATED BY THE BUSH WHITE HOUSE.

Californians who don't know better are blaming Gray Davis for the fact that Pete Wilson allowed for the deregulation of the state's energy industry, and 3 days after Bush took the White House, Cheney removed the Clinton-imposed price caps on California energy market. Remember how our electric bills QUADRUPLED overnight? Remember the rolling blackouts? Remember how when Kenny Boy Lay finally had swindled his employees' pension funds, raped their 401k's, robbed his investors, and Enron went belly up and lost control of the grid out here, our energy bills then went BACK DOWN?

Meanwhile, Ken Lay remains uncharged, and Arnold is cruising to the Governorship because Californians remain too apathetic and ignorant to do anything but bitch about Gray Davis, the tripling of auto registration fees, and his so-called "coddling" of illegal aliens (never mind that Bush is doing much the same thing on the national level to court the Hispanic Vote).

Dislike Davis all you want. Heap your scorn on Bustamante, but by voting for the recall, you are only playing into Bush and the Republican's famous, time-tested and highly effective ruse of always getting the "little people" to vote against their own interests.

It doesn't help that the MEDIA has completely given Ahnold a free ride, doing their best not to do stories on Anhold's treatment of women, his serial groping of women in public, his constant cheating on his wife, his steriod abuse, the fact that he knows NOTHING about the issues or how even a bill is passed, and the danger that this mono-syllabic faded action hero is about to gain control of the world's 7th-largest economy.

Ahnold, as governor, will surrender the reins of the state to the White House. Look who's working for him. GEORGE FUCKING SCHULTZ, of Iran-Contra fame and Poppy Bush's Secretary of State. Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world. And I hope you've all read about Ahnold's secret meeting with KENNY BOY LAY at the Beverly Hills Hotel during Kenny's manufactured California Energy Crisis. Why was a movie star meeting with Ken Lay?

These people have a plan! Arnold's Governorship has been planned for YEARS. The Right Wing has taken over the Electoral Vote-rich Governorships of New York, Florida, and now they want California's 54. They found the obscure recall vote on the books from over 100 years ago, an obscure rule and loophole in the state's Constitution along with such other nonsense as the law against marrying a horse. On a Sunday.

The Repugs have lately been defying the US Constitution, by impeaching Clinton over lying about sex in a bullshit CIVIL court case that had NOTHING to do with national issues or security. They're currently working on an ILLEGAL Gerrymandering redistricting maneuver in Texas in order to DISENFRANCHISE even more blacks and hispanics in Texas. Do I have to even mention what John Ashcroft has done to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?

Many of you can cluck your tongues and snicker at the idea of "conspiracy theories." Never mind that the reality points to "Conspiracy Fact;" yes, Virginia, there is a conspiracy.

IF you believe that because Ahnold is NOT a politician, therefore that somehow he'll be his "own man," and do a great job, I've got two words for you, "JESSE VENTURA." If you believe Ahnold is NOT a puppet of the White House, then you probably believe that Wesley Clark is a Democrat! It's all a ruse, folks, to make sure their men take these positions of power right from under our noses.

Don't you see? Even if Bush's poll ratings are in the 20's, it won't matter with Ahnold controlling the State, taking orders from the White House, insisting upon the new Touch Screen Voting machines to count the votes, which are owned by Republicans, Republican fundraisers, and Right Wing Christian fundamentalists, and military contractors with ties to the Pentagon.

The "dimples and chads" story of the 2000 Election was merely a bullshit ruse to provide a distraction and "cover" for the REAL WAY Jeb Bush and his Secretary of State Katherine Harris "fixed" the Florida Election results months before the 2000 Election. Florida was "in the bag" before a single vote was cast. Don't think we won't see a repeat of such in California in 2004.

Ahnold can put on an SS uniform every morning, goose step up and down Sunset Boulevard while openly groping every blonde Pam Anderson wanna-be, and it won't do a damn thing to hurt Bush's 2004 Election prospects in California. Not if the White House seizes control of California's government.

Is this to be the fate of the "most liberal state in the union?"

DO SOMETHING!

Spread the word! Vote against this! Whatever your political persuasion, you really want California to become an ever BIGGER JOKE than this recall has already made us?

It no longer washes for any of you to say, "Oh, Captain, I'm just not political."

Sorry, Democracy is a participatory sport. Look at how bad things have gotten in this country in just two years, due to our apathy and malaise. If you hate the direction this country is going in, by voting FOR the recall, you are effectively telling George W. Bush, "THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!?"

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO GIVE GEORGE W. BUSH EVER MORE POWER AND INFLUENCE? I mean, it's not like he's abused all those extra powers the Patriot Act and Congress have given him, right?

GET YOUR COUNTRY BACK!

VOTE NO ON THE RECALL!

Captain Mike

4. AHNOLD LOOKS LIKE AN IDIOT ON TV
He speaks unable to pronounce any words(wuds) and sounds like he has slight brain damage.

His commercials are aimed at his fellow racists-
-he singles out mexicans and indian casinos.

He'll never get elected legally.

WATCH OUT FOR DIEBOLD though !!
Coming soon to your town !!

5. Caveat
If Schwartawhateverhisnameis wins that does not help * one bit in CA in 2004. Democrats control everything else in CA, including the SecState office, and Schwartzawhatever might be facing his own recall in November of 2004.

9. Dunno
Governorships are like campaign outposts for the incumbent. Being able to tour a state under the aegis of the governor's office (and dime) is not an inconsiderable help.

12. Numbers don't add up
Republican governors in Pennslyvania, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin were not able to deliver their states for Bush. Democratic governors in New Hampshire, Missouri and West Virginia couldn't deliver their states for Gore. It only makes a difference in a recount situation, where it really does matter who controls the machinery of the state's government.

8. Yeah
The most important part is the NO on recall. If you go NO on recall and yes on Bustamante then even if Gray Davis is recalled by 60% of the vote that means Bustamante got 40%. Enough to beat Schwarzenegger as long as McClincock stays in the race.

I hope McClincock doesn't drop out and keeps the repube vote split.

17. NICE REPUBLICAN TALKING POINT
Dems are NOT in favor of the recall, and less than 10% of the people who voted dem signed a petition gathered by professional sig gatherers. 900,000 names. never would have happened if someone hadn't paid for it.

This is a conscious strategy articulated by republican advisors even before the 2002 election. The idea is to create more chaos in the system which they feel can be overcome with republican money.

19. I sent letters to the editors at the LA times today. I hope it will be
printed. We all should do the same as outsiders looking in. I brought up the point of his steroid use, yet wants to be seen as a role model for children, his meeting with Ken Lay which he "forgot", his g-banging interview and his 2000 groping of a British journalist and the fact that he drives a hummer yet pretends to care about the environent. I also called him a coward for agreeing to only a scripted debate.

Now I am going to write the San Diego paper, it can't hurt.
