Gotta hand it to the repubes..
Those guys are smooooooth.. Today's "guest" on Washington Journal is a kindly grandma-looking lady..wattle & all..who just happens to be the rep for COAL...from the national Mining Association (chief economist)..

Naturally when someone is asked to talk about the ramifications of coal usage and the environment, it's rather disingenuous to have the economist represent the industry.. of course a big ole man might be too :scared:

They do this time after time, and NO ONE calls them on it..

A while back they had a very pretty blonde lady who was representing the petroleum industry.. :puke:

1. I wouldn't be surprised if they had Happy Gilmore there,
so when someones asks a question, he can't just retort: "LOOK! She's OLD! See? She's old, dude!... OLD!" :eyes:

2. I think the Daily Show once did a sketch where Stephen Colbert...
...was interviewing a Big Tobacco representative who turned out to be Colbert's own cute-as-a-button little daughter.

It was very funny, for the transparency of the reason you metioned in your OP.

3. She claims no knowledge of a place called West Virginia, apparently
She just said that coal mining does no environmental damage:eyes:
