A WiFi Touch Screen system
http://www.advancedvoting.com/

They just don't give up, do they?

WiFi?

And get this, the much vaunted but of no value L&A test is-
AUTOMATED.

Hey, doesn't that defeat what little purpose this test is supposed to have?

Supposed to be demo'd Monday for Washington state election officials.
(unconfirmed)

4. Heads up on this one

Howard T. Van Pelt is CEO. He was lately Pres. of Global (aka Diebold) and before that of Marksense (Urosevich company). And Advanced was originally Shoup whose owner was convicted of fraud in Penn. A Shoup offspring is still with the company. I am winging it here from memory. I am sure there is more.
In a word.....Advanced is head deep in doo-doo.

Is this the back up if Diebold goes down and doesn't get their new verison of WiFi voting in the states?

Wonder if these systems are alike in more ways than one....
