War Plans Drafted To Counter Terror Attacks in U.S.
Domestic Effort Is Big Shift for Military

By Bradley Graham
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, August 8, 2005; Page A01

COLORADO SPRINGS -- The U.S. military has devised its first-ever war plans for guarding against and responding to terrorist attacks in the United States, envisioning 15 potential crisis scenarios and anticipating several simultaneous strikes around the country, according to officers who drafted the plans.

The classified plans, developed here at Northern Command headquarters, outline a variety of possible roles for quick-reaction forces estimated at as many as 3,000 ground troops per attack, a number that could easily grow depending on the extent of the damage and the abilities of civilian response teams.

4. Larouche sites Cheney setting up nuclear terror op
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 02:39 PM by deeperpolitics
In larouchepub.com the article is titled The Guns of August, Cheney has set up 'mock nuclear terror ops' in the US for mid-August.

Both the 9/11 World Trade Centre project and the London subway bombings were accompanied by "mock military terror drills" simulating the exact 'actual' terror ops that occurred. Also, in New York, the Federal Emergency Response team was in place ready to clean up/cover up the mess. Same story with London's security/police on the mornings of the recent bombings.

According to larouchepub.com ,Cheney has set in motion "mock military terror drills" for mid-August/05 involving nuclear terror ops.

Larouche is a intelligent whistleblower taken seriously into the confidence of both Republicans and Democrats.

The idea is that if Iran were already nuclear capable then Israel and America would leave well enough alone. But the entire axis-of-oil region is the desired target of annexation. So, a false flag nuclear terrorist op is required to garner the support of the voting public to war on Iran. Iran is to be the 'scape goat nation' and justification is needed to take out Iran by nuclear warfare.

6. LaRouche has nowhere near that much credibility
There are independently verifiable sources about potential nuclear false flag attacks. The only one I know of is a nuclear terrorism exercise in South Carolina.

9. Emergency meeting tommorrow at the UN about Iran......
Iran resumes nuclear work; the West scrambles

International Atomic Energy Agency to hold an emergency meeting Tuesday - a step closer toward a showdown at UN.

By Howard LaFranchi | Staff writer of The Christian Science Monitor

WASHINGTON – - Iran's resumption of uranium conversion Monday is set to be taken up at an emergency meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency Tuesday - a move that could result in referral of the Iranian nuclear issue to the United Nations Security Council.
The council, in turn, could set in motion an international effort to isolate Iran politically and economically, something Iran has long wished to avoid.
The flurry of activity over Iran followed the Islamic Republic's terse rejection over the weekend of a European offer of economic incentives, including help with nuclear-energy generation, in exchange for verifiably giving up all nuclear activities that could lead to a bomb. The events represent a ratcheting up of a confrontation with the West that some officials in the United States have long considered inevitable, given their assumption that Iran is determined to join the nuclear club.

Western officials likened Iran's step to an "in-your-face move" by a nation in a political transition, with a new president in tune with the reigning conservative mullahs. But Iranian officials, who insist their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, say the activity is part of Iran's right to develop nuclear power.

8. Guard units might begin rounding up people while regular forces could not"
"It could be a challenge for the commander who's a Guardsman, if we end up in a fairly complex, dynamic scenario," Keating said. He cited a potential situation in which Guard units might begin rounding up people while regular forces could not."
