MSNBC just asked AAR viewers to tune into
Rita Cosby. Not kidding, just heard the ad on AAR. Any takers?

My response is--Hell, no.

2. Not a chance. I've also seen new commercials for
Bowtie boy; since they moved his show to 11pm, they're now shilling for the drunks-I kid you not!

9. Rachel Maddow kick;s Bow Tie Boy's *ss
Don't knock The Situation - Rachel is just awesome on it. She's always sharp and well-informed, she knows how to shoehorn her way in when they try to shut her out of a conversation, and she can talk circles around Carlson.

Too bad MSNBC doesn't realize what it has. Instead of moving the show to 11pm, they ought to fire Carlson and make Rachel the host!

11pm puts it opposite The Daily Show. Not a chance that it'll win that battle in the ratings!

17. It's a shame they didn't let Rachel host...
If MSNBC put Countdown on at 9, they could have Rachel lead in at 8 with an hour long show covering straight news instead from the US and the world instead of having another lame debate show like the Situation.

I bet there are a ton of people (like myself) who would rather see a show similar to the network news shows rather then two pundits arguing back and forth over issues that they've already decided upon.

(And, since I'm pretty much dreaming anyways, why not throw the Daily Show on at 10 and completely make my day, right?)

3. Wow. This is a testament to the popularity of AAR.
If MSNBC is trying to attract an audience off it it, tells you something, doesn't it?

8. If MSNBC wants AAR listeners, they should advertise during Olberman
Different audiences, but I'd bet they're similar demographics.

Poll question: Do you watch Countdown, The Daily Show, Both, or Neither?

7. It was a basic pitch for viewers.
I'm assuming they are trying to scrounge up an audience for her. I'll wager she is the next candidate for the 11 pm slot after they move Tucker to doing infommercials.

6. WTF? Why would they ask AAR viewers? She's by no means progressive
and is just another ill-informed hack media ho' for the repukes.

she'll provide balanced interviews. I'm beginning to wonder if ole Rupert didn't buy out MSNBC.
