Christian group applauds Blair's anti-immigrant stance; ACLU "terrorists"
Contact: Don Swarthout, President, Christians Reviving America's Values, CRAVE, 859-219-1222, 859-619-2811 cell

WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Great Britain's Prime Minister, Tony Blair, announced last Friday, "Let no-one be in any doubt. The rules of the game are changing." He was referring to terrorism and a tolerant attitude toward immigration, both problems which we face in America.

The Prime Minister made it clear that Great Britain will seek to deport radicals who condone, justify or glorify terrorism. They will also stop extremists from coming into the country by tightening their immigration laws and denying asylum to applicants who are deemed to support terrorism.

To become a British citizen, it is now necessary that people attend a citizenship ceremony, swear allegiance to the country and have a rudimentary grasp of the English language. These are simple requirements for immigrants to adapt the customs into which they wish to immigrate. When will America wake up?

Speaking boldly, Blair drew the following conclusion. "But, coming to Britain is not a right. And even when people have come here, staying here carries with it a duty. That duty is to share and support the values that sustain the British was of life. Those that break that duty and try to incite hatred or engage in violence against our country and its people, have no place here."

Don Swarthout, President of Christians Reviving America's Values said, "Thank God, Britain has caught on to the serious risks involved by allowing the terrorist to be in charge and have all of the rights. It really is simple; you are either for the rights of the terrorists or you are for the rights of your own law abiding citizens."

"When will we wake up and secure our borders? Is our government a willing accomplice to allowing millions of Illegal Aliens into our nation?"

"We applaud Tony Blair for his accurate assessment and his courage to make such a bold statement. He is absolutely right on course and I can only wonder why we in America have not caught on to this type of thinking before we lose any more of our rights. External terrorists and internal terrorists groups like the ACLU do not want to strengthen our American values; they want to change our American values, history and our way of thinking. We cannot allow that to happen in America and survive."

1. The ACLU is an easy target for small minds.
Only those with a total ignorance of ACLU case history or those blinded by the fRight would attempt to jump on the "blame the ACLU' bandwagon. American Christians really need to clean house.

2. When the communists invaded Tibet, they told the monks
they were 'healing' them.

Apparently, this same sort of thinking is now being exhibited by xian fundies. :grr:

5. What a bizarre mix of hysteria and spew!
I don't think most reasonable people would be opposed to denying immigrant status to blatant hatemongers, and that's what Blair is talking about.

But then these CRAVE wackos begin natter on about "people attend a citizenship ceremony, swear allegiance to the country and have a rudimentary grasp of the English language" and "When will America wake up?" Apparently these nutballs have never seen a naturalization ceremony, which features all of these aspects.

And then they foam-out on illegal immigrants, as if immigrant = terrorist, illegal or otherwise.

And then the icing on the cake: "internal terrorist groups like the ACLU . . ."

I know what I C.R.A.V.E. . . . a country where these sickos earn the public opprobrium they so richly deserve, and are shouted down whenever they begin to spew their bile.
