Bush's Sacrifices? JFK never took a salary as President or
Congressman. And keep in mind, we weren't at "war" at the time JFK did this. All of his salary as President & Congressman was donated to charity.

So what are bush's sacrifices? Certainly not his salary or his children for this war of "noble cause"

Maybe Mrs. Sheehan could remind him of that.

And the words of Paul Hackett: "bush with his taunting of insurgents with the comment “Bring ’em on,” was “the most incredibly stupid comment I’ve ever heard a president of the United States make.”

And this...An "exclusive" from a CIA Commander: "U.S. Let bin Laden Slip Away" http://msnbc.msn.com/id/8853000/site/newsweek

I'd like to see his "response" to these questions. For sure, the media & politicans aren't asking these questions of bush.

Thank you, Mrs Sheehan for all you are trying to do. It's appreciated.

1. I've shown that on another board
and the freepers are already making excuses. It's so disgusting and makes me want to vomit.

The only thing that * sacrificed was a perfectly good conscience.

4. Where *is* Bin Laden, GWB?
From http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2002/03/20020313-8.html/:

Deep in my heart I know the man is on the run, if he's alive at all. Who knows if he's hiding in some cave or not; we haven't heard from him in a long time. And the idea of focusing on one person is -- really indicates to me people don't understand the scope of the mission.

Terror is bigger than one person. And he's just -- he's a person who's now been marginalized. His network, his host government has been destroyed. He's the ultimate parasite who found weakness, exploited it, and met his match. He is -- as I mentioned in my speech, I do mention the fact that this is a fellow who is willing to commit youngsters to their death and he, himself, tries to hide -- if, in fact, he's hiding at all.

So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you. I'm more worried about making sure that our soldiers are well-supplied; that the strategy is clear; that the coalition is strong; that when we find enemy bunched up like we did in Shahikot Mountains, that the military has all the support it needs to go in and do the job, which they did.

Then, during the third Kerry/* debate:

KERRY: Yes. When the president had an opportunity to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, he took his focus off of them, outsourced the job to Afghan warlords, and Osama bin Laden escaped.

Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, "Where is Osama bin Laden?" He said, "I don't know. I don't really think about him very much. I'm not that concerned."

We need a president who stays deadly focused on the real war on terror.

SCHIEFFER: Mr. President?

BUSH: Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations.

5. "All of his salary as President & Congressman was donated to charity."
That isn't really a meaningful test, especially if the person was independently wealthy as was JFK (yes I know, Bu$h too). But the rest, ESPECIALLY that comment by Paul Hackett, was right on the mark.

6. pnorman think it is a meaningful test, when one is calling for
sacrifices from others. JFK was wealthy & so is Bush, true, but JFK said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" He put his words into action. I don't see that with bush. He asks for sacrifices, but sacrifices nothing in return. And I mean nothing! His wallet continues to profit, at this time of "War" and his children, neices & nephews are all safe at home.
