She Kisses Him Good Bye and He is Only 24.....
This is just so heartbreaking....

Bethany Lyons kisses the coffin of her husband, Marine Lance Cpl. Christopher Lyons, Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at the National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Lyons, 24, of Mansfield, died when his company came under attack by small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades in western Iraq. He was assigned to the Marine Forces Reserve's Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Regiment. (AP Photo/Kiichiro Sato)

3. Remind me, again, why we're over there?
I seem to remember something about WMDs.. Or was it Saddam... Links to Al Qaeda? 9-11! That's it, Yeah, 9-11!

...Um, No, wait... Maybe it was 'putting an end to the torture and rape rooms' (and STOP ASKING US about those other Abu Ghraib images, dammit!)

...Or it could have been 'liberating a grateful populace' (that doesn't want us there)...

Oh, yeah, now I remember what it was~!!!

5. For those who don't understand the truth you represent with your
pic.... we are there because of our lifestyle.

OPEC always priced oil in US Dollars. In the perceptive essay, The Real Reasons for the Upcoming War With Iraq by W Clark, the thesis that a shift using the EURO as the settlement currency, drives the Bush/Cheney administration hydrocarbons geo-strategy.

"The Federal Reserve's greatest nightmare is that OPEC will switch its international transactions from a dollar standard to a euro standard. Iraq actually made this switch in Nov. 2000 (when the euro was worth around 82 cents), and has actually made off like a bandit considering the dollar's steady depreciation against the euro. (Note: the dollar declined 17% against the euro in 2002.)

7. For 200 Billion we could have already started a manhattan type project
to find alternative, renewable ways to power our shit.

And we probably wouldn't have accumulated all those coffins of young men and women, to boot.
