Just Another Difference Between Shrub & Clinton |
|
When Clinton used to drive around, and there would be a crowd of people, the SS would have to stop the car so Bill could get out and shake hands with the people. I know because it happened to me one time, and I used to hear about him doing it frequently.
Shrub on the other hand is dealing with a less friendly crowd, who are less interested in shaking his hand and getting a photo with him, as opposed to yelling their opinions to his ashen face.
He doesn't even have the guts to be driven past them in his limo, let alone stop and meet with anyone, or invite them for a face to face meeting. Beyond all that though, I don't think that it would even matter whether she was able to tell him off in person, because he could care less what she or any soldier's family thinks. He would just be in it for a photo op.

Bush is arrogant that he doesn't feel the need to converse with people who don't subscribe to his politics.
You see it in the way he's treated the African-American community. He refuses to go before the NAACP, but yet will go before the National Urban League, who hasn't been as outspoken against him.
Contrast that with Clinton, who can converse with anyone. For example, he wasn't afraid to go before a predominantly African-American audience and criticize Sista Souljah.
