Nov. 15, 1969

To all who were there What a great march. I have been considering going to the Sept. 24th march. Anyone else going? We had 400,000 there and do we think we can get as many at this one. It would be great.

2. That's when I arrived back in Detroit from Viet Nam.

No parades. No brass bands. Nobody at the airport. Took a taxi at 2am to my wife's apartment. She wasn't there. She was staying overnight with her lover. There were a lot of us who came back to that kind of welcome. So, it's a little hard to remember that some folks were protesting. :shrug:
