Simple reason why moron* won't meet with Cindy...
The jerk off has never apologized for a damn thing and he can't recall any regrets at all.

Him meeting with Cindy would go against his very concept of ultra reality, that he made a mistake.

Cindy will be arrested and the protests across this country will begin.

This relatively small event will turn out to be his waterloo.

And just think we will have 3 1/2 more years of this colossal failure trying to talk his way out of this one.

My prediction is: She will be arrested and moron* will stay mum and jack ass suck ass scotty, I'm an asshole, mcclellen will say there won't be any comments until the investigation is over...

Once they say boo about it, the cat is out of the bag and it's all back peddling for them from that point on. So expect nothing from moron*. Which is just more of the same from that colossal failure*

2. It would be so fitting ...
... if chimpy and the evil cabal are brought to their knees by one greiving mother.

Your predictions are probably very accurate.

3. He is a coward
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 02:44 PM by Enraged_Ape
There IS no other reason. The man is a fraidy-cat. He is probably the most scared, miserable coward currently residing in the United States. He makes his pathetically wimpy dad look like 70s stuntman Dar Robinson.

There is no other explanation. Stupidity and arrogance (which he has in abundance) don't explain his actions. He could have ended this as soon as it started, if he had even one molecule of guts. He obviously doesn't.

11. Yes, he is a coward, but
I think the OP is correct -- he is genetically unable to admit a mistake or apologize. All that King Bush does is perfect, so why would he apologize?

Remember, he equates apologizing with weakness, and the fucker simply *can't* admit that he is weak.

14. I think he is a coward but I think it's like he has said,
that he thinks he doesn't have explain his actions to anyone or answer anyone's questions, that people have to explain and answer his questions. He's an arrogant little man who really thinks he's above it all.

18. Aha! That's a true coward talking. He pretends to be above...
it all to hide the real truth, which is that he's just frankly too terrified to go near any of it. Anyone with even a small amount of courage would have ended this saga by now, and gracefully. But not George; he's too terrified to even know where to start.

Bullies and cowards throughout history have relied on the fairly transparent dodge that Bush is trying now. But the little scared monkey doesn't fool me. He's just your ordinary, garden-variety pu$$y.

16. Justice Stevens said
after the 2000 election there would always and forever be an * beside bush's* name because he won the presidency while losing the general election.
It's like in the sports record books, a player may have a better record of something ie more homeruns, but they did it under different circustances than other players, hence there is an * beside their name denoting the circumstance.

So, always on DU whenever the chimp* is named by whatever name it is always followed by an *.

Just as the word moron is always spelled moran, if you'll go to demopedia you'll find a wealth of information like this.

5. Bush would not be able to meet her without mocking her
and getting pissed off that anyone would DARE question him.
I suppose they don't want another 'Karla Faye' smirk caught on camera.

6. Chimp's PR people must be tearing their hair out.
I'll bet they told him to nip this in the bud by meeting with her early on. But, because he's a stubborn SOB, he couldn't bring himself to show a little compassion for a grieving mother. And I'm sure he's too busy planning his next war on Iran!

15. It's Too Late Now.
A real man (and a real President) would have immediately met Cindy on the road and invited her to the house for a private talk.

Since we have a Third-Rate Hack instead of a president, it's too late for him to do anything. He's waited too long:

- Meet her now and he's backing down (Georgie doesn't do that).

- Ignore her and take the flak (Bad PR).

17. Exactly right, Tracer.
The little weasel could have avoided all this and agreed to
meet her early on. It would have been good for his image,
and it would have been over and done with.

Now, he's damned if he does, and he's damned if he doesn't.
And me? Well, I'm just smiling.
Coming attractions for what's going down in DC next month.
