A good Bible verse for those wanting to impose on other's lives
Next time you come face-to-face with someone who is trying to dectate your life here is a good Bible verse. It's from First Corinthians chapter ten verse twenty-nine: <For why should my freedom be judged by another's conscience?> The chapter is actually talking about eating certain foods and whatnot but I think it can go for anything.

2. Problem is bible people don't comprehend what it says
They listen to what their religious teachers say about how to view it. Did you hear the interview with Santorium where he was quoting passages about not imposing one's views on others and keeping those rights free, while he's making his argument that everyone needs to live their lives according to his ideal. Period. These people are downright STRANGE! Logic has been dissented from their beings and an empty hole covered by a big mouth remains.

6. Yep
If people actually read their Bible's things would be a lot different. A lot of Christians I know at my church aren't like these folks. They abuse religion for their own purposes. So I try to play the game too.

3. If they can't get around "Thou Shalt Not Kill"
They're certainly not going to hear about how they shouldn't be sticking their noses into other people's bid'ness.

7. Which is really quite sad

My church has talked a lot about gossip and not getting into other people's lives. It's just not something to do and considered very rude. Of course that doesn't stop the older ladies from gossiping. :eyes: My preacher has wonderful lessons. I wish people could hear him. Another favorite of mine is James Watkins. :loveya:

Here's some info on him: http://www.christianchronicle.org/0009/p06a1.asp

4. They just believe in the Bible--they don't actually read it
They probably think that Pontius the Pilot was the one who took Jesus, Mary and Joseph on the Flight Into Egypt.

5. Quoting the Bible to fundies
it's a total waste of time. They believe what they believe and nothing will change it.

We just have to wait for them to die off or crawl back under their trailers.
