1. Yuck!!
Get rid of those three, have a bit more of Rachel Maddow somewhere, somehow, and have Gregory on Hardball more instead of Tweety.

2. They're imitating Fox News because it's #1.
If someone started a liberal cable news channel, and that went to #1, the other cable news channels would be imitating it.

8. Olbermann is about as close as we get
And then there's Chris Matthews, who used to work for Tip O'Neill AND Ed Muskie...and there's George Stephanopolous over at ABC...

Rita is really just a scandal reporter, not political. She does as she is told, and I gather, based on the crap she took over at Faux for her weight, that there is no love lost. Bet she could tell a few salacious tales if she had a mind to--she probably has a nondisclosure agreement in her Faux contract, though.

Tucker is in the eleven o'clock spot because MSNBC misjudged, and thought he would work after KO--they didn't realize that he shit the bed over at PBS, and the only reason he survived at CNN is because of those AROUND him (Carville, Begala). He's on at eleven because they have a contract that has to run its course, and everyone switches to the DAILY SHOW then anyway...

They oughta bring back Phil Donohue...RIP Jerry Nachman, that was a BAD move dumping him--his share was bigger than HARDBALL....

11. There is noone on cable tv who spews out liberal
talking points. KO is a newsman, Matthews a RW shill, and Stephy is a moderator.

13. Actually, Chris's WIFE is the republican
He is still a Democrat, believe it or not...

If you get SUNDANCE, you can watch Al Franken--now that's some good radio-TV...

18. I'd rather have a neutral news person
Like KO & Gregory than those RW shills they're loading themselves up with.

17. matthews voted for bush-and proudly admits it
the talk of him being a democrat or left-leaning is pure canard

20. No, he said ONE member of his household voted Bush, the other Kerry
And he did not say who.

Kathleen voted for Bush....

She works at the DC station that took Politically Incorrect off the air, so none of our Congressmen could see it...

24. I saw it too!!!
It was a one on one interview earlier in 2004-I stopped watching him by the fall as his bias and nastiness and propaganda was making me ill.

He was interviewing some guy and asked who he voted for, and the guy was hemming and hawing to not answer. And Matthews said, "Well, I voted for Bush, bet I surprised you."

Oh and Rita Cosby?? Why would anyone watch anyone that ever worked for Fox during the propaganda years? It's a crime against yourself. Once Keith goes..I will never watch MSNBC again. It used to be decent. The Canadian gal..Ashleigh Banfield..smart and not towing the party line-gone! Phil Donaugh-gone! Geraldo-gone! (sorry I just have a thing for Geraldo..he's so manly) LOL.

27. Give me Tucker any day..
..over Joe or Rita. At least he can talk for a few minutes straight without making me barf.

And yes, Olbermann is the shizznizzle, but lately he's doing too much tabloid stuff.

4. It's a payoff.
The highest rated show on MSNBC was Phil Donahue. They dumped him. It's as though they don't want viewers. Rita Cosby? Give me a break!:boring:

As the news gets increasingly bad, that may be the strategy of GE. Pay them off; keep the viewers away.

The NBC channels have all become GE's PR department.

their most popular nighttime host, and replaced him with Joe Scarborough.

That was about two years ago.

12. what the hell is wrong with that woman's voice?
it is the most grating sound this side of a transmission grinding gears.

elmer fudd has a more pleasant voice.... and a nicer double chin to boot.

i heard her for about 15 seconds then switched off the tv.

introducing her to MSNBC on bowtieboy's show was a pure kood-aid Bushspeak performance.

30. Yup! Even the Connected twice a day
has Harmonica on for "the balance". She ends up shootin' her mouth of at least twice a day. And for the past couple of days at least, she's a solo host. :puke: (To be fair, Ron had a solo host spot while she was 'on assignment', but he didn't shill as she does.)

It's CONservative all the way. And they're promoting it that way. All you have to do is look at the descriptions...the Conservative Pundit, the former Republican Congressman, etc.

As to Hardball, all you have to do is watch Matthews. Promotes the CONS 98% of the time while yelling over any hint of a Liberal/Democratic viewpoint. Disgusting.

I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping Matthews has been on vacation to interview on another network and David Gregory will take his place. :) David at least asks the Hardball question MOST of the time.

31. Cindy Said:
“If you fall on the side that is pro-George, and pro-war, you get your ass over to Iraq, and take the place of somebody who wants to come home. And if you fall on the side that is against this war and against George Bush, stand up and speak out.”

"But whatever side you fall on, quit being on the fence."

"The opposite of good is not evil, it’s apathy. And we have to get this country off their butts, and we have to get the choir singing."
