Just spoke to my mom in TX-she knew NOTHING about Cindy Sheehan! |
|
I had to explain the whole thing to her. She hadn't heard a word. And she watches the news every night. Sickening. They are able to bury whatever they want.

3. Tell her to ASK, DEMAND her local new station to carry the story |
|
If they can run the story in Kearney, Nebraska, they can do it in her area too.

4. Even worse, I went to the Austin Indymedia web site, today... |
|
...and there's nothing on the front page about Cindy. You would think they'd have something.

5. I spoke to an educated woman today who knew nothing of Cindy |
|
Granted, we are in Seattle, not in Texas where it's happening, but GOOD GRIEF. She had no clue that this was happening. I explained it all to her - and by the way we were in a bar where CNN was on in front of us and there was nothing on about Cindy - and she was horrified, i.e., very supportive of Cindy and aghast at Bush, but still- she had heard nothing.
She is a stock broker. She's a Republican but she hates Bush.
But she had not heard of Cindy.
I'm afraid to ask my mother, in California. She might say the same thing as yours.
And she's a left-wing Democrat.
Not enough main stream media are covering this.

6. According to US Newswire (off the Drudge Report) |
|
Many more parents will be joining her over the next few days.
The MSM and Cable won't be able to ignore them much longer.

11. CNN Headline News ran the story the past two days in a row. |
|
Ignored it the first day.
Your mother and that woman just missed it.
I remember when the arms arms-for-hostages scandal broke during the Reagan administration, I missed it for a week because I was so busy with grad school work.

12. CNN-HN might be running it, but that isn't enough-or reasonable coverage |
|
Here is a breaking story of national importance going on in Texas, and local Texas stations won't touch it. Sorry, but that's F'ed up.
