Why is Bush not meeting with Cindy Sheehan? |
|
I know they say he has met with her before, and he feels for her, and he disagrees with her, but isn't it completely stoopyd not to meet with her? He must think she is going to wipe the floor with him.

1. I think that paranoia is part of his mental illness. |
|
You can see it in many of the snap shots of him.

The Crawford Coward is too Scared to meet with Cindy Sheenan.. "Two White House officials eventually did meet with her in a meeting that Washington says lasted 45 minutes. But Sheehan -- who says she "very appreciated" the meeting which lasted, by her count, 20 minutes -- calls the meeting "pointless."
"George Bush is the one I want to talk to," she says.
Sheehan admits she doesn't expect to actually meet with Bush, but says if she did, she would ask him whether he would encourage his twin daughters to enlist."More.. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/1123770624296_119179824/?hub=TopStories

4. C-O-W-A-R-D...couldn't fight in a war as a young man...can only send |
|
other young men off to be cannon fodder as an older man. Can't watch it. Can't talk about it decently. A-1 coward. And anyone who cannot see that now ought to be signing up to serve in their "hero's" war.

He has spent his whole presidency surrounded by sycophants, insulated from anyone who might crtitcize him and will not go into crowds unless they are invited, vetted and sworn to loyalty.
He whizzes by in closed, darkened limos, down streets that have been cleared of all possible protestors to go to locations where he is guaranteed a good reception. He even instructs other country's leaders to do the same for him when he's visiting, sometimes at huge expense!
And even former officials who have criticized him have been banished, slimed or harrassed.
Where he ever got the aura of "common man", I'll never know...

7. I mean he's obviously not thinking for himself... |

He's not the one deciding not to meet with her. His people are telling him not to meet with her. What is the reason his people are telling him? "You can't handle her, buddy"? "She's too smart for you, junior"? "She'll hand you your head, tough guy"?

8. CNN's Jack Cafferty got it right |
|
He said that he thought Rove was smarter than that. If shrub had just taken her into his home immediately and given her a satisfactory answer, we wouldn't be talking about it now (meaning the M$M). Biggest mistake Rove and this assministration ever made was not talking to the beautiful and sad lady who couldn't hurt a fly.

9. He isn't able to deal with someone who doesn't believe his lies. |
|
There is no way for him to bluff is way through a meeting with her and he knows that.
The press would eat him alive after the meeting. If he doesn't meet with her they are only going to nibble at him a little.
As it is now he can at least hope that counter protest will help to push some of the questions being asked about his war out of the minds of the masses. It's the old, "Don't be Anti-American and beat down the moral of the troops" scam again.

10. Bush cannot answer her questions- even Rove doesn't know what the hell to |
|
do.All Bush ca hope to do is allow the Limbaugh-Hannity-O'Reily gang to smear her (like the rest) which they're doing with no success. Hannitty today says Cindy is disrespecting her son by asking to speak directly to Bush. Total horse-shit!

11. There is definetly a reason why all his meetings have to be structured |
|
and choregraphed, first of all, he has a short attention span and is equally short tempered, I'm sure. Just think back to why Cheyney had to go with him when he testified before the 9-11 Commission. They knew if someone said something and it pissed him off, he would probably lose it. Either way, they are going to lose on this one. Just by listening to Cindy talk, you can here the intelligence and the common sense she has, * could never, never handle her. How can anyone have a conversation with someone who has nothing there?

The spoiled little blooddrenched ignorant fratprick would blow a gasket after five minutes of her boring in on his evil mush lies for this war.
