I just don't get the price of milk.

I just don't get the price of milk.

I mean, look at this thing:


... It looks like the price of milk dropped for a long, long time after 9/11. Then something happened the send it skyrocketing, and now it's nearly steady??

At what point do we see fuel prices starting to affect milk and other goods that have to get where they're going on trucks?


On edit: And what the heck does it mean that milk was at its cheapest the month we invaded Iraq??
