I think the scariest thing for Bush is that THIS WAS STARTED ON A WHIM
Edited on Fri Aug-12-05 01:02 AM by jsamuel
Sheehan just decided to do it and went. People are following her lead...

Can't call "dirty politics" on that, just pure caring...

Good job guys!

Part of me wants to go just to be around the magic!

It's hard to smear this:

1. I agree...
this isn't done by the DNC, the DLC, any Senators, any other organization. It's true grass-roots.

But I DID hear today some of the pundits claiming she's a tool of "far-left" organizations like Move-On. Nonsense... But that's the tack they're going to take.

She lost the ultimate.

3. Yes
The people who trusted Bush -- who looked to him for leadership -- after the terrible events of Sept 11.

But he has blown the mission, and is taking down a lot of good men and women with him as he sinks into this quagmire.

It is the NeoCons who are out of touch with the majority of Americans. The American mainstream rejects this ridiculous and awful war, and increasingly rejects Bush himself.

5. Oh of course
I watched from crooksandliars.com the video of O'Reilly with that other mother and he kept saying Sheehan was being told what to say by Michael Moore. :eyes: Why can't they ever come up with some other person to blame besides Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton and George Soro's? How lame.

8. and O'Reilly got it backwards, as usual
All Michael Moore did was repost a Kos diary entry BY Cindy Sheehan. His repost, naturally, was AFTER hers, so how is he telling her what to say AFTER she's already said it?

Besides all that, in the beginning of Cindy Sheehan's decision to go to Texas, it was just her, her sister, and her mother doing a spur of the moment thing. None of this was planned in advance, and she certainly isn't a "tool" of anyone. She doesn't need anyone to tell her what to say or what to think... but apparently O'Reilly does.

9. She's become the personification
We know from the polls that a majority of the people agree with Cindy Sheehan, and she has become that sentiment personified. It only takes a spark to get a fire going.
