This is supposed to be a reasonable, thoughtful Republican site.

There are no good Republicans. If you EVER need to be reminded of that, consult this article.

5. The Wingnuts have taken over the site and pushed the supposed
moderates into the basement.

Hmmmm, I wonder where we've seen that scenario before . . .

11. I agree
It's rather strange, though, to see that the ownership hasn't jumped in to put a halt to some of it

7. until they go get their asses shot off doing their duty
to country, they really don't have any room to speak.

They are responsible for those thousands of aluminum caskets that they're too chickenshit to show the media. Those arguments about Iraqi's killing our soldiers is bullshit.

If a soldier's welfare depends on our decisions to put them in harms way for a pack of lies, it doesn't matter who pulls the trigger - we put them in a country with millions of people who want them dead and not enough people to watch their back.

They depended on this government to make the right decision and do their best to keep them alive, and this government has failed. Anyone who supports the bullshit and lies that got us into this war is as guilty of killing Casey and our other soldiers as the Iraqi who set that bomb.

it's the only thing that explains their lack of higher brain function.

I refuse to honor them or their bumbling bamboon of leader.

10. Reasonable and thoughtful?
Those two words don't belong anywhere near the word Republican.

12. Nope. Neither do "decent," "moral," or "family values."
They are Republicans first, Americans second, and are human beings infrequently.

13. I am glad for this
Only in this way can the idiots on the right be exposed for who they truly are and what values they really represent.

The best promoter of civil rights was George Wallace. He put such an ugly face on racism, that the "silent majority" woke up and took notice.

My only regret is that the Sheehan family will be questioned about it and suffer as a result.

18. How precious, they attack a Grieving Mother of a dead soldier...
I wonder, is this their idea of supporting the troops? I wonder, what are the thoughts of those in Iraq...this smear campaign against a Mother who's son had given the ultimate sacrifice? I wonder if they feel their family is safe from this sort of campaign...I remember a father of a soldier that recently killed also blamed the B* policies...was there an all out campaign agaisnt him? Why now, and why Mrs. Sheehan?

This can only backfire on them...Support the troops...but only those that are republican?
