Jan. 19, 2001 DJIA: 10,587.59 NASDAQ: 2,770.38 S&P 500: 1,342.54
YESTERDAY DJIA: 10,578.24 NASDAQ: 2,757.91 S&P 500: 1,342.90
NET (after 4 years, 7 months) DJIA: -9.35 NASDAQ: -12.47 S&P 500: +0.36
And, note that all markets were down noticeable today.
Wow! What a legacy!

Thanks for citing these figures---it documents exactly what I've been saying. * has absolutely, positively run the country into the ground in so many ways. And we need to do a figure comparison between oil prices on Jan. 19, 2001 and now...

3. Oil was about $22/bbl in Jan. 2001. It's now $67/bbl. |

Gas prices were about $1.50/gallon and they are now $2.47/gallon.
