This could become a "Field of Dreams". Invitations to mothers from around the world should go out to all the world news services immediately. They will cover this event unlike much of the corrupt corporate propaganda machine we have here. Cindy could invite the Mothers of England to come on over to Crawford. Imagine that. Just do a story on the front page of the Guardian. Imagine the momentum this would yield. All the mothers of the fallen from any wars could be extended an open invitation; Poland,Czechland,France,Germany, wherever. This could well become an international event and why not. The little bush-turd is a global tyrant who's every bowel movement effects world policy. The wretchedly ugly and foul CondeSleazy Rice spends much of her time off on full scale world lying tours. So why not answer that with a world message of our own. A Coalition of the Mothers of the World. Send out an all points bulletin immediately. No need to worry about whether it gets coverage or no. Murdoch and the American billionaires do not control the presses yet in Germany,France or England.
Just imagine thousands of mothers lined up on that road waving all manner of national flags and standing alongside Cindy for peace. Its time to get started.

I get the sinking feeling that there won't be any indictments, that everyone will skate away from this like every other horror they've perpetrated. I really, really, really hope I'm wrong about this. This gang of criminals deserves nothing less than life in prison, but the deck is stacked against that. They think they're above the law. They're not, but they control the law in this county right now so they may as well be. bush has no conscience, no sense of moral accountability. He's a soulless cretin, beneath the lowliest creature on earth.

I could see Bill Clinton handle this. FGS - how I miss having a real leader. A good leader with a heart could actually handle Cindy and the mothers, even when his policy is wrong. I've thought about this so much, what would I do. Let's face it, Laura could send a car to pick up Cindy - take her to the ranch. Identify like another mother should be able to do. Her dumb ass husband - * - could stay out of the room. A good kitchen chat - an I'm so sorry this had to happen. We made a mistake, just don't tell everybody this - we will try as hard as we can to bring this war to an end. Something, personal without a photo-op. FGS!
The "First Lady" a mother, can't even relate to Cindy losing a child. I have no respect for any of them, this is not the America I grew up in. What have we become...just since -*- has been in office. A mother is sitting in a f***ing ditch and they really don't care. Hope the rest of the world takes notice, they treat Cindy no better than the rest of their foreign policy. There is no way in hell had K/E won - Teresa H. Kerry and Elizabeth Edwards would have allowed this mother to sit in a muddy ditch, and grieve.:mad:
After all, they are two ladies - and Laura - you are NO lady, just tacky!

25. Its True These Pictures of Cindy are Worth more than thousands of words to |
|
show Bush's contempt for the sacrifice of our soldiers and their families.
When is Fitzgerald going to start handing down indictments and what is the procedure for arresting Bush/Cheney?
If Fitzgerald is coming above the radar in the PBS show on his career and his Grand Jury investigation, two years now, must be soon I hope for the sake of America and the world.
Does anyone have links for the two other Grand Juries who are looking into all of Bushco's crimes beginning with the 2000 stolen election, one is in Washington, DC, don't know where the other one is located.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Skolnick Investigates Bush Indictments Of The Chicago Grand Jury Assembled In 2003 To Investigate The Valerie Plame-CIA Leak
Skolnick recently stuck his neck out again with a story saying perjury and obstruction of justice indictments have been vote out by the grand jury in a host of related wrongdoings by Bush and his cronies in a spill over of the Valerie Plame investigation, spearheaded by Chicago U.S. Federal Attorney and Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald. Skolnick claims a ‘true bill’ has been voted by the grand jury, indicting Bush and others as well as naming Justice Scalia and justice Rehnquist as un-indicted co-conspirators, adding the indictments have been suppressed from the public due to the sensitivity of issues involved, similar to way indictments against Richard Nixon were suppressed during Watergate. Skolnick also reported last week that the situation has become so serious that his longtime friend Justice Stevens arrived in Chicago to try and work out a deal in the country’s best interests, considering the gravity and sensitivity of a sitting President being indicted. “Stevens is in town to try and arbitrate a solution,” said Skolnick. "One or more of the grand juries have concluded their probe and have voted True Bills, Federal Criminal indictments, against George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, "Scooter" Libby, Condoleeza Rice, and Theodore B. Olson; and several media people not previously mentioned in the monopoly press as implicated,"
She has forced Bush into a lose lose proposition. Yesterday, I didn't think he could look like more of an idiot, answering Cindy in a press conference with his war criminal buddies behind him. But now, driving by her and the rest of the protesters...he has exposed himself to be such a fool and a coward. The press is all over this, the whole world is watching...there is no way out for him. And if he does meet with Cindy she will expose the truth about this sham of a war and put Bush in his place.
Just like cindy, I was so angry he was talking a vacation amidst the mess he has made, and now I am giddy at the thought that it is anything but restful. He is squirming!
40. And she has said, repeatedly, how disrespectful he was to her. |
|
This story was backed up by another mothe'rs experience wth the shrub. The editor of the Vacaville Reporter has backed up this story as Cindy told him when she returned home from the "visit" where the shrub thought he was there for a party, called her "mom" called Casey a "loved one" but refused to say his name or look at his picture. The mother that went on o'reilly verified a smiliar experience has happened to her.
I am from Vacaville orginally and know the editor and the Rico family. They are not liars and not partisans. They put forth a very fair paper that fairly analyzes every issue.
41. Oh, well let's just see what she said |
|
"We haven't been happy with the way the war has been handled," Cindy said. "The president has changed his reasons for being over there every time a reason is proven false or an objective reached."
The 10 minutes of face time with the president could have given the family a chance to vent their frustrations or ask Bush some of the difficult questions they have been asking themselves, such as whether Casey's sacrifice would make the world a safer place.
But in the end, the family decided against such talk, deferring to how they believed Casey would have wanted them to act. In addition, Pat noted that Bush wasn't stumping for votes or trying to gain a political edge for the upcoming election.
Any questions?
If you want to understand, then watch your tone. YOu know good and well that your tone is very direct in what you are implying. Stop with the tomfoolery.
Now, as it is almost 11 pm here, and we have a long day planned for tomorrow, I am off to bed. That is why I will not be quickly responding to any more posts. Don't accuse me of a post and run.
My advice, if you are sincere (hold down the laughter, DUers), do the reading... including what Cindy has actually said herself, including her online diaries. Until then, don't get snipp here. DUers won't put up with that around here. NO ONE attacks a grieving mother of a fallen American soldier. A soldier, I might add, who questioned this war, but still went.
...when I see these silly troll attacks, how old are these people? It seems like such a childish thing to do. And horribly naive to think we haven't seen every trick in the book, and won't spot it IMMEDIATELY.
57. Maybe she regrets having been so nice. |
|
After all, the local paper says they don't think there's been a change of heart, her outrage was festering then.
The Bushbots would make believe that she was somehow brainwashed and in being used by what they call "left wing groups" but maybe she is the one using these groups to get her message out and to take the protest where she would take it.
Bushbot propaganda is so lame!
66. I grew up in Vacaville. We know the editors and family that run the paper. |
As I've said on DU before, they are very conscious of being fair and non-partisan. They have no motive to lie. They ahve said repeatedly that Cindy is not suddenbly changing her mind, that she had doubts and questions and reservations before. In fact, not only Cindy, but her husband and the other kids, puls other members of the family (some of whom are there with her in Crawford now.)
Once again, one would have to take the time to read to understand all of this. The world isn't black and white... except in bushworld.
71. No excuses! Your country needs YOU!!! |
If you already served, that's even more reason why you should be in Iraq right now. You can clean latrines and peel potatoes if nothing else.
that the pres drove right by and didn't stop while on the way to a fundraiser. Wow! No spin on that and the facts make him sound like the callous unfeeling frat boy who laughs at people kind of jerk that he is.
36. Do you think that he will have time on vacation... |
To go to the funerals of the Marines who sacrificed their lives? 5 Marines returned home to Cincinnati today in flag draped coffins. http://www.fox19.com/Global/story.asp?S=3711344He doesn't have time to speak to a mother of a fallen soldier and will vacation instead of attending the funeral of a soldier who sacrificed their life for a mission he sent them on. I guess BBQ's and fundraisers are more important. You would think that would be enough to wake up his "value voters".
...either not getting, or choosing not follow, basic, politically prudent advice. You don't have to be a genius to know better than to whiz past Camp Casey with the motorcade. That was really just plain stupid. It smacks of leadership that regards itself as completely impervious to the tide of public sentiment. Even with MSM functioning primarily as the Republifascist's public relations arm, Dubya's polling numbers on Iraq, integrity, and overall job performance are in the crapper. He needs a domestic crisis and he needs it soon if he's going to draw attention away from this PR nightmare. I would look for some manufactered terrorism event before the end of September.
try to move away from their votes and pre election convictions. They all wish they had not voted that way and now they dont want anyone reminding them of their shameful decision. They cant get away with the fact that they are part and parcel with the sin and horror of this war. They are bystanders who looked the other way when they could have stopped the crime. And they are actually worse than those of you who have not voted. Shame on you.
