Have you noticed the way people have said it |
|
"Oh yeah, the people know that Bush lied to them."
They say it with so much ease.
We once had a President who lied under oath, he was brought to accountability.
God knows I loved this President, and God knows that I know that people were looking for the tiniest of things to bring him down, and yes I also know about 97% of the things they said about him were total lies.
But, when he had to face trial for his perjury, he faced it, and in the end, he won.
But, Bush lied to the Governed, he LIED TO THE PEOPLE!
Either one or the other happened, take your pick:
A. They stole the Election
B. They are using NAZI tactics and winning
Clinton lied - He was held accountable
Bush lied - He's still the 'President'
How much longer should we take it?
When should we have stopped taking it?

3. Government has been lying so damn often people are apathetic. |
|
They simply make jokes about it and continue to work within their sphere of influence. Aka their jobs and immediate situation. I can't blame them; I've been forced to do the same regarding this. :-(
Well, I am forced to work within my sphere of influence, but I surely don't joke about government and why we pay taxes.

If we lied and suddenly instituted socialism a la Sweden and the Netherlands, you think the RW would take that lying down? Can't you SEE them trying to deal with the social liberalism of the Netherlands HERE?

4. What really frost me is when I hear that from people who... |
|
...I told at the time that he was lying, and they either told me to "prove it" (which at that time I mostly couldn't to their satisfaction) or prattled the "I'm sure he has information that we don't" line.

5. Yeah.... the balance sheet is going, going crazy! |
|
Clinton:
1. Lied to protect personal life. Timing of accusation was prior to taking office. A mighty force acted to catch him in the lie.
Bush:
1. Lied to service friends for profit and security. Security for Saudi Arabia and Israel. Profit for his VP and the VPs friends. Lie involves the takeover of this country and Iraq - for starters.
Ouch - the scale just tipped over.
They want us dumb, submissive, silent, and patriotic to THEIR CAUSE. They want us to think that we can still vote. They want us to think that forces beyond their control will terrorize all of us unless we allow numbers to be put on our arms and provided we snitch on each other, study olive and brown skinned people when they move around, and allow our jobs to go to 'furerners', not say anything when their friends cheat or kill, allow corporations to avoid paying taxes - shelter profits - ignore enivronmental laws.
