How come Conservatives never have their own "protests?" |
|
Why do they always just have to show up at the anti-war rallies, civil rights rallies...
Can't they stage their own crap without having to resort to either harrassing poor women at clinics, or coming to something other people put effort into?
What has happened to the Republican Party is sad indeed.

2. Because protesting is for hippies. |
|
They think you're a commie for ever questioning the Gov't or ever thinking they're wrong.
However, it's OK for them to "protest" in order to disrupt our rallies.

16. Another myth created by the MSM |
|
Nightly news showed the more colorful protesters throughout the sixties and hid all the moms, dads, ministers and military veterans from public view. The hippies were only about 1 tenth of the protesters at times.

outside of a very small circle in the banking industry is either lower middle class, or lower class.
Without exeption--
Most of the people I know that are educated and own a swimming pool, big car, etc...are Dems.
But, that's ancedotal on my part-

7. They've got corporations, media, and advertising to get their message out. |
|
They don't need to stand out in the cold/heat rain/snow when they can just hold a couple of $500/plate fundraisers and hire an advertising firm.

9. Steph - do / did you have younger brothers or sisters? |
|
If so, do you remember them doing their best to annoy you and your friends?
It's the same "spoil the big kids' fun to get their attention" attitude... which isn't surprising, considering that their average intellect and maturity are at about the same level of development.

13. They never create anything on their own. |
|
They only co-opt, steal, and hijack. The only creative genius they seem to posses as a group is one for rationalizing truth into nonsense, and slandering the innocent.
Sorry for the rant, but I am sick of these "history revising" bastards.

15. They do organize their own protests. |
|
Have you never seen a KKK rally?
But seriously, it seems their way of expressing their views are more geared toward "Freedom Concerts" with plenty of flags and fake cowboys or "Justice Sundays" to work their followers into a pious fervor.
Protests have always been a progressive endeavor due to the fact their goal is to right a wrong or advance a cause, while Cons regressive nature is to have things just the opposite. So I don't think there could ever be such a thing as a conservative "protest" per say.
Although as already pointed out, the very fact they have all the power and everything they want from Bushco (yes, I know it's still not enough), what can they really protest?
