2. We lost a fellow

from the town where I work. He was a medic, and lost his life trying to save another soldier. The local bank, next to the office where I work, thanked him for his sacrifice. I cried every time I went by.

The problem is, way back in 2003, when I was marching to keep us from going into war, I could see that it would result in death and suffering. I cry because I couldn't stop the madness before it started.
