However, I did hear that Rep. Maxine Waters was supposed to be going down to Crawford sometime this weekend, so it is not true that NO dem officials are. And the ones that are aren't in the media. And that's good because the story needs to be "Cindy Sheehan challenges president" not "Dem Official X visits Camp Casey"

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, representing one of the most anti-war cities of the country, is planning to vote against every effort to plan a timetable for withdrawing from Iraq. Nancy is planning to vote for every appropriation for this illegal, insane war. Would you expect her to change? She just voted 82 billion for this madness last May.

That is why nancy will see outside her san francisco office Sept. 26th a protest akin to what Bush is hiding from today. Maybe even with Cindy there.

And where is Dean? He now supports the war effort. He is a Democrat, so that stands to reason.

The Corporate Controlled Media will say there were dozens of protesters there. You were there. How many "dozens" would you estimate were there?

20. When I was there, there were NOT dozens of protestors

You could count the ones at the camp on two hands. During a "minute of silence" they weren't quiet and one of them said something like "You just wait till later on when all my Texas A&M friends get here".

At the rally site, there were very few, and only 2 of them came near the road when we were lining up to caravan out to the camp. TWO. If there were more, they were hiding like the cowards they are away from the road.
