Some of you may miss this, already well posted on General Discussion. You should not miss this one; you need to see this post, and the article, on www.nytimes.com. This war is indeed over, and I am old enough to know why. Please find this prior post. If you do not, you will miss a great deal, and you will hear a lot about it this week, as Rove unleashes his talking points to Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, et. al. But, he loses. You can feel it. I felt it in 1968.

And I think something definitely has shifted in this country. McCamy, how are the armed forces going to be able to violate Posse Comitatus and impose this neo-feudalist Bush martial law? I think a lot of Constitution-loving Republicans are beginning to see the PNAC Bushists as despotic, undemocratic rulers. You really think these people are going to be able to pull it off, and turn the once-prosperous USA into postwar Albania? I don't.

If you look closely at the war on drugs, you will see the war on US citizens is already raging here, and privatization is the name of the game.
