Patrick Fitzgerald: "He's obviously proud... He can be proud in prison"
on John "Quarters" Boyle, who was just sentenced to 7 years.

<snip>

"He's obviously proud that he's not cooperating, and he can be proud in prison," U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald said.

<snip>

Boyle was hired by the city despite his 1992 conviction for embezzling millions of dollars in nickels, dimes and quarters from the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, a crime for which he received the moniker "Quarters."

<snip>

Boyle's lawyer, James Tunick, called his client "a giving person" who raised money for charity after his brother, a fighter pilot, died in a jet crash.

On learning of the comment, Fitzgerald said, "Giving? Maybe `taking' might be the better word."

8. Stole million$ in COINS? Reminds me of a Little Rascals episode
the kids are in the treasure stash of a miser and one kid is stacking up bags of money to take - he can barely lift one, and he's fixing to take them all.
