The Bush "vacation" Doctrine |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-15-05 04:02 AM by crizzo5137
I want a federal law to follow the bush vacation doctrine.. 365 X 4.5 = 1643 days in employment - 330 = 1313 days on the job... 1643/7= 234 weeks 1313/7= 187 weeks 47 weeks on vacation.. Now I get 2 weeks a year off... I would have to work 23 years to get a total of 47 weeks off... I want 1/5 of the year off as a paid vacation just like the president.. We all must sacrifice in a time of war, and I think it should be a law that we all must sacrifice like our commander in chief.
I'm sorry, my facts are wrong.. he is only on his 319 vacation day

1. Amazing it seems but expected from those who disdain the common peeps |

Bush acts like the common man but he thinks not like them, He is above us and he shows it by contemptously taking whatevewr vacations he wants....longer the better, more often the better. His daily regime includes 2 to 3 naps after TV exercise and a couple of 5 minute meeting.

I hate to nitpick, but you've repeated a nasty GOP meme: Bush is not OUR commander-in-chief. To say that he is implies that he is the commander of all Americans. He is not any such thing. That would make him the dictator he imagines himself to be.
He is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Services. Period.
