6. Aaron Brown? I turned him off when he started with how the mention
of a "special prosecutor" reminded us of the "good old days...or bad old days." And then he said Americans have had enough of Special Prosecutors so the Plame things probably won't get that far. (sic)

Man, what the hell is that? Other than EDITORIALIZING ...and then he goes into the news, seamlessly. This is a total joke as far as being a journalist is concerned...

that far is Aaron;s way of saying that unless we do something more than just watch the news - this is likely to be buried ....

and he is right! And we should thank him for the heads up!

Time to email, call, fax, and make a fuss!

8. aaron brown, what a clown ...
i did exactly the same thing ... i tuned in, listened to biased-boy's first sentence, and tuned out ...

what was i thinking ??

aaron brown seems like a pleasant enough fellow ... too bad he doesn't have a clue what it means to maintain his objectivity ...

get a clue aaron ... real journalists and real news people should not state that americans "have had enough of special prosecutors" ... it may be true; it may not be true ... but you tainted your own story by reporting it this way ...

the specific crime against the truth you perpetrated was that you have no idea how the american people would react to a special prosecutor given this specific situation ... the fact that we were sick of these prosecutors after years of ken starr's abuse of the clintons does not mean that we want to let anyone, from the left or the right, get away with covering up the felony of disclosing the identity of a CIA agent working to fight against terrorism ... and worse yet, allegedly doing it as intimidation to suppress dissent on the iraq invasion ...

this is not some obscure, trumped up land deal (i.e. whitewater) ... this is sending our men and women, our sons and daughters, to die in a war based on fraudulent evidence ... this is trying to intimidate those who produced "the wrong evidence from niger" ... this put the nation at risk (treason ??) by disclosing the identity of a CIA operative heading up anti-terror investigations ...

see the difference, aaron ?? one is politics; the other is treason ...

don't be so quick to assume that the american people don't want to do whatever is necessary to get to the truth of such serious matters ... and don't be too quick to assume that ashcroft is the man for the job ... he's a political appointee of the worst kind ... these are serious matters that require a "real" investigation ... an arm's length investigation ... your trite dismissal of the need for truth on such serious matters shows what a poor, uninformed newsman you really are ...
